Very good place for family retreat. It was a short stay and didn't get to try everything but there's plenty of amenities you can check out like 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, gymn, and indoor heated pool. There's a beach access to witness beautiful sunset and sunrise, too. We enjoyed good food - both the dinner and breakfast (buffet). Staff are very nice and friendly at the bar and resto (especially the two ladies who served us drinks at the bar on Friday evening). Chef at the kitchen preparing the dinner and breakfast was really good - family was so delighted with the delicious dishes. The serviced apartment we checked in was really good and spacious, well presented and maintained. We're excited to plan with our next family visit.

I emailed the facility a week from staying and was told a cot had been organised and was awaiting in the room allocated to myself and my family. Upon arrival I was initially met with a kind, warm, professional service which quickly changed once prompted staff about the cot missing from our room. It took 3 phone calls to reception to have this one issue resolved. When the cot was finally sent to the room i was told "You are okay to put this up yourself", no help offered despite making us wait over an hour for it to be delivered. None of the TVs in the room worked, when this issue was raised again to staff I was told "Yes we have been experiencing network complications and deeply apologise for this" however no resolution or compensation was offered. This was highly frustrating with three children unsettled without the option to put on the kids channels and get other unpacking or other tasks sorted. The rooms were unclean, untidy with rubbish from other persons stay still in the bins in our room. There was no iron but an ironboard in the room, the hot and cold water service was not working correctly and the showers were scalding. I had to personally hot spot my own data from my phone to make the TVs work as staff had no solutions. The main relaxed Shallows bar had mainly pizzas on the menu and didn't offer and nuggets or chips or other kid friendly services. The main indoor pool had minimal lighting and was very dark inside at night. It was a very disappointing stay as the facility charged nearly weekly worth of rent for one night stay and charged premium rates for no services or facilities to be working inside the room. Would not come back and stay again or recommend staying here.

Pullman Magenta Shores Resort — a superb Central Coast escape I had a fantastic stay at Pullman Magenta Shores Resort in New South Wales. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and very private, with direct access to an enormous beach that felt almost completely secluded. At one point, we practically had the whole beach to ourselves, apart from one elderly couple in the distance. That level of privacy is rare and really made the stay feel special. As an Accor Plus Gold member, I was upgraded from a basic room to a huge villa, which was an incredible surprise. It was basically a full-sized house: four bedrooms, two storeys, and far more space than two people could ever need. There was a minor issue with a curtain falling off, but it did not affect the overall experience. The resort grounds are spacious and relaxing, and the dining was also very good. At the time, the Accor Plus dining benefit made meals especially worthwhile, with 50% off for two people. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even preparing food for us shortly before the kitchen closed after check-in, which we really appreciated. We ended up eating comfortably in the villa. Overall, this was a very positive and memorable stay. The villa upgrade was excellent, the staff were kind, and the privacy was superb. The standout feature, though, is definitely the beach. Having access to such a large, quiet, almost private stretch of coastline is what makes this resort feel truly special.

We had a wonderful stay. the gardens are beautiful as well as the view from the comfortable outdoor furniture. The facilities were clean and up to date. The staff were great as well as the food they served, this was fresh and delicious. We certainly didn't leave the table hungry. We walked to the beach (in minutes) which was pristine (apparently, thanks to local volunteers who do a fantastic job). We saw a whale in the distance as well as hundreds of dolphins frolicking, feeding and surfing immediately before us. A most memorable experience. It's been a minute since I stayed at a venue that reminded me how and what great hospitality is. The Staff are relaxed but professional and knowledgeable. Facilities and location are excellent. Can't recommend this facility and its team high enough. Haven't even left but already thinking about when I can make plans to get back here.
