Easy location with free parking. Having to download an app to order to be able to secure the happy hour drink specials is annoying. “The Pass” is a flawed app that somehow managed to pass UAT which is wild. Even the menu was sloppily pasted up in the app, asking if you’d like to add red wine jus to your lobster roll order? (Apparently this is a blanket issue with both the tavern QR menu and The Pass Menu) A message to management: having to muck around for over ten minutes to sign up to an app just to order a drink is bonkers. We almost left and went somewhere else where we could just order and pay at the bar and get a happy hour drink. The standard QR code menu ordering has no happy hour offerings. Staff suggest downloading The Pass app to secure the happy hour deals. Even in The Pass app there’s no visible happy hour offerings. Asahi is 11.50 for a bottle and no draft option. Extensive food menu and we were impressed with the serving sizes, freshness and quality. Delicious meal. Review update: came for a second night in a row and ordered the lobster roll and couldn’t believe how varied the result was. Dinky portion of lobster drowning in the bread. Soggy fries. Sad steak cooked with absolutely no love. Night and day. Won’t be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved our visit to Palm Cove Tavern! The frozen mango cocktails were incredible — so refreshing and the perfect tropical treat. Ordering through the QR code was super easy and convenient, which made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, especially the hawaiian parmi — beautifully cooked, generous, and full of flavour. Everything we ordered came out fresh and tasted amazing. One of the highlights was the friendly curlews wandering around. They were so cute and such a special touch, especially since we rarely see them at home! It made the atmosphere feel relaxed, unique, and very Palm Cove. Highly recommend visiting — great drinks, great food, great vibes! 🍹✨

My daughters and I waited over an hour for 2x rib fillet steaks and a tropical parmy. When I asked why it was taking so long, the staff told me they are very busy, but the place was almost empty. Got the steaks when they were cold and well over the medium rare we asked for. Party was a good size but very cold also. No apologies from the staff or chef. Very disappointing and could not recommend any go there.

Worse seafood platter ever. The calamari and fish were from the freezer and so dry as they had been overcooked. The bug too. Very disappointing, especially so close to sea. We had 7 different plates from the menu in total and the food quality was mediocre. Do not recommend as there are so many other options in the area that would do a better job at this. The staff was fine so I gave 1 star.
