The club has two courses, St John and the Henley. The former presents really nicely as you are driving in while the Henley is tucked away at the back. Only played the Henley. The Henley doesnt have the wow factor that the St Johns does but the overall design did seem to be very friendly for both short and longer hitters. The tee boxes were generally decent however the fairways were thicker than expected. They did however decently handle winter and summer conditions. The greens were much slower than expected during summer despite the way they looked meaning you can putt fairly aggressively. It is a Private course so it is a tad expensive to play which puts it up against courses on the Mornington Peninsula which are hard to beat. Would play again at Members guest rate.

Played the Henley course. For the price you pay absolutely worth it. Pristine views, perfect fairways and and overall exceptional experience. Only minor flaw is the greens aren’t quite perfect compared to other places I’ve been to, but still play great. A must play.

Enjoyed a fantastic round at the St. Johns Course in Heritage Golf Club - a Jack Nicklaus design that’s well managed and delivers a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment!

Firstly as guests we were unable to get a tee time before 12.30. we were told we would be around in four hours using carts, so day light not a problem. Sheer nonsense. Carts are not allowed on the fairways only the paths. Back and forth to your ball back to cart. So slow. Carrying several clubs. 17000 steps later and 5 hours and complete darkness. Those who were in the daily comp couldn't even submit their scores. Don't spend the extra money on carts. Walk it but be prepared it is undulated

Average golf course is being kind and it is way way over priced . The Henley course first tee is a 20 /25 minute walk from the clubhouse. They tell you to follow the green line on the path to the tee. I had to ask people on the course is this correct and they laughed and said keep going and going until you reach the starter box. It Looks good from a distance when sitting in the clubhouse. Greens are slow and badly kept as are all the bunkers. We hired a buggy for 18 holes at 2.30 we got a message on the buggy screen informing us if we are longer than 4 hours they charge you $40 per 30 mins after that !! The pace of play is SO slow we left before even completing the round . DO NOT WASTE A DAY OUT OR $175 .
