Had a really great experience here! A big shoutout to Philip for taking such good care of us. He was so friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast with everything we needed. The service was excellent from start to finish, and it definitely made our visit even better. They even surprised me with free drinks for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration even more special. Great food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited on a sunny autumn day and was immediately struck by the warm, inviting ambiance. Service was mixed: the restaurant was very busy during my visit, so the waitstaff occasionally felt stretched thin and not as attentive as I would’ve liked. That said, the staff handled the hectic pace professionally and politely, so any delays felt understandable rather than frustrating. Because it fills up quickly, I recommend booking a table in advance. The menu was ok, each dish I tried were good. Portions were satisfying and reflected good value for the quality. I’ll definitely be back .

Such a peaceful and beautiful spot that I keep coming back to often. I’ve been here many times for kayaking and picnics, and it always makes me happy. Paddling along the river is so relaxing, the scenery is stunning, and the atmosphere is calm and refreshing every visit. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend for a picnic and kayaking escape. #genastar

My first time visiting and definitely not my last. I came celebrating my birthday as well as my friend’s, and upon being served quickly and warmly, our lovely host Phillip made our time so enjoyable. Attentive and quick service, immaculate vibes and gorgeous scenery on a beautiful Winter day. The fries here are so generous & good! I’m surprised it took me so long to check this place out, but very glad I finally did. :)

The fish and chips is honesty one of the best I’ve tried. It’s made not too oily and the batter is perfect. Not to thick . 🤤. Also great for large groups , they have a lot of long tables . And the view is so peaceful, makes you feel like when you’re in the 1890s . The staff were very friendly and helpful.
