We went to the bistro for a family get together. This is our third visit. The meals are very very nice but on this occasion the meals came out in three stages and the first meals were finished before the last meals were served so they need to work on the speed of getting mails to the table. My wife Had chicken scallopini and it was cold when she received it unfortunately. It is a very noisy venue also

We are regulars to this establishment and have been for 3 years. Today we attended for lunch in the bistro, with friends and it was extremely busy for the 2 staff on duty. The girls were simply run off their feet, taking orders, delivering food and attending the bar. Customers were having to wait 5-10 minutes to be served due to the busy nature of the facility. Erin and Josie did the best they could although customers were grouchy because they had to wait. These changes we have seen regularly lately due to management wanting to cut shifts. Hopefully they can see that these cuts are disgruntling customers and can maybe improve the situation. There has also been a reduction is some foods (no roast for the past couple of days) and some drinks unavailable in the facility. Personally, I would have thought this is the bread and butter of the facility and should be on hand. New facility manager doesn't participate with staff when they appear busy which is a shame for the staff as Tim the previous Manager, could always be seen around the facility, helping out when required.

This venue is our local. We really enjoy it here. Food is good, staff are friendly, service is great. Although, in my opinion, there has been a change of facilities Manager in the last couple of months & the new Manager just doesn't meet the level of service and friendiless of the previous manager. Which seems to have poisoned the staff morale. Previously, I rated the menu 9.5, recently I rated it 6.5, reason being the lack of choice and/or no supplies.

Big shout out to all the team that provided their time and service for us on Christmas day. From being welcomed and wished Marry Christmas to the delicious food and prompt clean up service, it was perfect and very much appreciated. I also appreciated that we weren't packed on like sardines. The Watermelon chilled soup was like a fruit cocktail in a bowl! We'll be back next year 🙌👏

We had dinner in the bistro with a group of my son's friends for his birthday on 22/11/25. All the staff were great and our meals were good, but there was one staff member in particular who made our night better. A lady by the name of Michelle was working and she was so smiling and friendly throughout the night despite my 17 turning 18 year old and his mates being a bit rowdy. She was very efficient and organised the cake, plates etc after we'd finished our meals. Given the large quantity of meals, on a very busy night, the timing of service was quite impressive. I also know that by the time we left at closing, Michelle had had a very long day as she was there in the morning when I dropped the cake off so to maintain such a friendly and professional demeanor was much appreciated.
