Tash Eliza and Drew were an excellent choice for lunch at the Mattara in Charlestown. I had lunch on Friday and the service was warm, fast and welcoming. The T-bone steak was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and the Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere, great service — especially from Tash — who made the whole experience easy.

Had the best lamb shank I’ve had and my partner’s grilled salmon was cooked to perfection with delicious vegetables and salsa verde. Staff very welcoming, friendly and professional. Sat right next to the fire on a cold and wet winters night. An overall great experience- thank you!

Was here last week, went to order at the table with there QR code. I wanted the lamb rump, you would think that would be easy to order it came with Zucchini & mash and no not simple at all, the app asks for a side no choices to say no, couldn't move forward choices chips & salad, veg & mash, veg, chips. So I thought I just want to order the lamb rump as it was. I couldn't so I decided to order at the counter 20 minutes waiting to order, because the lady taking orders wasn't just taking food orders but serving drinks as well, it was a 50 minute wait time, & there was no way I was waiting 50 minutes for food at a pub... The bar service was slow. Disappointed and won't be back

For a Saturday lunch it was very disappointing and very expensive for the quality of the food provided...I advised the staff that the shared seafood platter was for 3 people...it was served with the tiniest amount of seaweed salad..one large lettuce leaf and mayonnaise...that was the salad...had to ask for the prawns which were advised on the menu but omitted from the meal..received 2 prawns...2 very thin and dried out fish pieces which were disgusting...to say nothing of the calamari. ...don't recommend it for a Saturday lunch....Friday lunch is far better
