•MIINE is your local Italian kitchen, reimagined.
This isn’t your nonna’s trattoria. MIINE is Italian-ish, think handmade pasta tangled with bold, unexpected flavours, wood-fired pizzas topped with a playful twist, and cocktails that flirt with tradition but never play by the rules. The classics are there, but only so we can turn them upside down.
Step into a space where the lights are low, the music moves, and the spritzes never stop sparkling. DJs set the tempo. Plates hit the table. The night finds its rhythm.
MIINE is yours. Make it what you want.

Our front area features large bi-fold windows that open onto Darby Street. This space includes 10 high tables that can be positioned to best suit your needs.

Not somewhere I have gone frequently, but I will. Beautifully renovated with tasteful decor. Great food selections. After show Sat night- We tried a pizza- Njuda- spicy pork! Delicious. Just wanted a quick meal. Service was very attentive. Only issue we had was that the DJ music was just too loud to have a conversation- but great music. For me having a Peroni in a tall glass is perfect.👍
Great to find this classy Italian open lunch time on a Sunday. Most other places only open at 5pm. Great service. No wait on the food. Best dishes we had was the Garlic Pizza and the Buffalo mozzarella. Parking was quite easy too. Definitely a good time to come on a weekend.
Not one dish was a let down with the chefs selection menu offerings, full of flavour. Staff went above and beyond with the only hitch being a stale wine served. This was without hesitation replaced with a fresh bottle. Great menu and a great team.
We had a great overall experience. The food was really good, the service was great, and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, especially the music. Definitely a good place for a date ! The only downside was that despite having a table booked for a specific time, it wasn’t ready when we arrived because previous guests were still eating. We had to wait about 15 minutes in the pub next door. The staff did apologize, but I think it would be better to offer fewer booking slots online if tables can’t be guaranteed, especially during the holiday season.
We went with our twin boys and they loved the Margarita Pizzas! I had the Pistachio Pesto Oriechette (pictured) which was fabulous and my wife and I shared the Scallop Crudo which was fresh and had a lovely acidic bite-YUMMO! My wife had a Parma Pizza on a gluten free base which she enjoyed. The Butter Lettuce with Mint side was another good dose of freshness. No problem recommending this restaurant to Novocastrians. We were passing through from Sydney. When you go there have a look at the fabulous pizza oven they have. It's a work of 'arte'! There was one lovely gent who was looking after the whole restaurant who did a great job under pressure. Thanks Miine for fuelling the rest of our journey back home. Cheers!
