My partner and I just celebrated our anniversary here and honestly, what a place. Dinner was incredible, and at one point we had our own little dolphin show right outside, they were just surfing the waves. It was one of those moments you don't forget. The bed deserves its own mention. I never sleep past 7am and I was dead to the world until 10. Says it all really. The location is just perfect, beach on your doorstep and the Baths a short walk away. But what really stuck with me was the staff. I had a last-minute job interview pop up and without any fuss they sorted us a late checkout so I could make it work. On our anniversary weekend. That kind of thing genuinely means a lot. Can't recommend it enough. We'll be back.
Our group booked for breakfast. Service wasn't great, just 1 staff member in the dining room .The buffet was a mini version of a hotel breakfast. Very limited choice of food. Food was ok but lacked flavour. Very simple set up , little effort put into the buffet food and dining room. No table cloths or cloth napkins laid out on tables just old wooden Cafe style tables , in a room that definitely needs a professional painter to overhaul all areas inside the hotel. Messy buffet , food spilt all over the benches and floor, no staff bothering to clean it up and we were there for 90mins. This business is definitely relying heavily on the ocean view. Toilets were nice and clean. I wouldn't go back for breakfast again. The buffet has a Cheap 7/11 style coffee machine, the tray with the coffee cups on it was dirty and had an old dirty wet paper serviette laying under the cups. It's a shame to this hotel lacking in pride of its food and service. It would suggest the Executive Chef and the Restaurant Manager both need to spend 2 weeks with the breakfast crew and bring the dining experience back to a professional level of expectation.
Noah’s We stayed 5 nights in a 6th floor room facing the ocean. The view is fabulous and the small balcony a perfect place to sit and take it all in. Rooms are small and adequately fitted out. The staff were lovely, always friendly and helpful. For us the hotels attraction was location; the view, good day time cafes and access to interesting walks. We were fortunate that our stay coincided with stunning weather for these pursuits. We always carry small torches which were handy for nighttime trips to the bathroom (otherwise a light from an internal window would have illuminated the bedroom). For convenience, we would have liked to have dined more often in the restaurant but the limited availability of vegetarian options precluded that. We’ll certainly return.
We booked a queen room for 3 nights and the whole experience was outstanding! The room was on floor 5 with a great view over the City towards the Harbour side. The reception staff, in fact all staff we dealt with, were amazing, friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to see the great view through the patio doors from the shower! Underground parking was a bit tight, but with care not a problem. As others have said, headboard is not the best to lean against, but plenty of pillows to fix that:-) Highly recommended. Thank you team!
I stayed in 508 from 25 Jan to 26 Jan. Room is nice with beautiful view. But not enough bathroom amenities, only half of toilet paper, 1 tissue box. I also found some sand on the floor and coffee mark on mini bar. However, the FD and Hsk staff is very nice and friendly
