I just checked into TOTTO hotel and I have to say, the customer service is outstanding. From the moment I arrived, Anna at the reception was incredible 😌 so helpful with the reservations, and she arranged a special room exactly as I wanted, with a lovely price. The bed is super comfortable, the room is spacious, and the overall vibe of the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast buffet is also amazing, and the price is really great compared to other hotels. Plus, the location and view are just perfect. Also, it’s 24 hours reception service. A huge special thanks to Mark 🥰 Harry Anna 🧡she really went above and beyond to make this stay wonderful. I couldn’t be happier!

I booked this hotel for my parents for 14 nights, and overall they had a great experience. I was also very happy with the service. A special mention to Luca—he was kind, friendly, funny, and made the best coffee! Most of the staff were welcoming and helpful. However, our experience with Mark was disappointing. He always seemed to think he knew everything, but I often found him to be rude, unhelpful, and lacking basic customer service skills. My parents don't speak English fluently, although they understand some of it, so communication was naturally a little difficult. However, I am fluent in English, and I still found him rude. If someone can't speak to customers politely and respectfully, they probably shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. Housekeeping also needs some improvement. Even when we hung the "Please Clean Room" sign on the door, there were several days when we returned in the evening to find the room hadn't been cleaned. On one occasion, I informed a staff member, and she kindly arranged for the room to be cleaned immediately, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the same issue happened again on other days, which was disappointing. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel because most of the staff were wonderful, and the stay was enjoyable. However, there are a few areas that need improvement, particularly consistency with housekeeping and customer service from certain staff members.

Stayed at Hotel Totto and it’s a really solid stay. You can tell it’s an older hotel that’s been properly zhuzhed up. Modern, clean, and done well. Check-in was seamless and the whole place flows and works. Rooms aren’t huge, but they don’t need to be. Quiet, comfortable, and everything you need. Great shower! Only reason it’s not a full 5: * Mattress is a bit tired * Air con and fridge have a bit of a hum (noticeable because the rooms are otherwise properly quiet) Location is spot on. Close to everything, but still peaceful. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. And the coffee? Outstanding. Barista knows what they’re doing.

The hotel is in a very good spot as you can just walk to Wollongong city center and the staff such as receptionists and housekeepers are very nice and friendly. However, there are many weak points about the hotel especially the facilities which if they see my messages I hope they will do something with it and I am sure they will get more stars. I don’t complain about noises as other people do as personally I don’t care about it I wear earbuds while I am sleeping most of the time. It is very strange that you can hear people talking from the outside of the room, the hall way, and along the streets outside but inside the room you can’t hear anything I mean you can’t hear any sounds from the neighbour rooms next to you at all. I want to clarify this for the hotel and I find it ok and not bad at all. Anyway, about the noise I don’t care. What I care is some basic facilities such as 1. A small wardrobe to keep stuff so the room feel bigger 2. Bins, there is only one bin which is in the bathroom, there should be one more in the room 3. A microwave for someone who stay long term or someone who like to dine in the room 4. A toilet brush 5. A Hair dryer and an Iron 6. A big bin or waste bin in public area outside the room in the hall as for those who dine in the room they don’t wanna keep food waste in the room and smell it all days and nights 7. Change the sink to better one as it is so shallow and there is water keeps leaking down all the time. Overall, it is not a bad hotel but if it adds more necessary amenities as I mentioned above I am sure guests will be happier. I will still come back btw ☺️

Room 333 was clean huge bathroom. Definately good for people with disabilities. There is a definate lack of furniture. There are no seats or small table. If you make a cuppa you have to sit on the bed to drink it. If you order in yep it's dinner in bed. There is no shelf for your suitcase. Either put it in the bed or get on your hands and knees on the floor. Very noisy. We were on the third floor and heard every sound outside but even worse everyone coming and going through the night would echo up the hall as if the doors and walls were hollow. The staff were very nice but we won't book here again. We book a need because we like to sleep.
