Good deal for the size, facilities, and location. Old but well kept. The apartment is large, has a fully equipped kitchen and laundry + dryer, and free parking (tends to get full quickly at night, but you can park for free from late night to 8am on the streetside just outside the apartment building). Reception is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a two bedroom for two nights. We also had other family stay in 2 bedroom apartments. All of us found the level of cleanliness disappointing for an Accor Mantra. My family member brought cleaning products to re-clean apartments & fix the smell from drains. The units need more attention to up keeping. For example the state of the mattress’ and rusted fixtures that can easily be replaced. See pic attached. The staff were friendly.
Please read all reviews before booking this hotel. Forget yhe website it is nothing like the website. Curtains ripped. Old and basic rooms. Nothing luxurious at all. I paid $298 for a Wednesday night plus $15 parking fee per night. There is some false reviews on this page. We had a one bedroom apartment on the 6th floor.
The rooms were really well maintained and cleaned well over expectations 👏 Downside to my stay: only 2 pillows on the bed when there should be 4, walls need a coat of paint and the air con was set at 16 but it felt like it was 28 degrees, but other than that I really enjoyed my stay 👏
“2-Bedroom Superior Apartment” — superior to what, exactly? I genuinely can’t understand what was meant to be superior about this apartment. The main bedroom with the ensuite had a queen bed, while the second bedroom had a king bed. Make that make sense. Whoever designed that was probably still half asleep at the time. Both rooms had one pillow per person, and calling them pillows is generous. They were about as thick as a napkin. The mattresses were rock hard honestly felt like sleeping on a slab of timber. For over $500 a night, the amenities were laughably basic and well below par. And then there’s the audacity to charge an extra $15 for underground parking, despite it being directly connected to the Mantra Hotel. Charging extra for that is just pure greed. Cleanliness? Don’t get me started. Dirty coffee table, filthy TV unit, and carpets covered in spills and stains. It felt neglected, not “superior”. The advertised mountain view was another joke. Unless you count people’s backyards and construction sites as mountains. Overall, this place is massively overpriced and completely misrepresented. Save your money and book literally anywhere else. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were half the price.
