Went into this spot expecting the typical bar-food experience, which is a place with high tables, dim lighting, and no pretense, and that's exactly what we got. The pepperoni pizza was a straightforward classic: it was hot, salty, and well-known; it wasn't particularly innovative, but it was honest in its simplicity. The employees, who were prompt, happy, and truly welcoming, were the true essence of the establishment. It's the kind of place where you're not looking for culinary enlightenment, just a good time, and they deliver that without trying too hard. It's surrounded by the hum of bar games and easy conversation.

I organised our staff Christmas party here, which is always a stressful task when you’re responsible for making sure the venue is a hit. We’ve done it all in the past, mini golf, bowling, and more, but this night was fantastic. We chose the Monkey Shoulder area instead of a private room so we could be in the 'hustle & bustle' of the venue, and it turned out to be a great decision. It may have been our most successful event yet. The staff were amazing, the food was great, and the shuffleboard and darts were a much bigger hit than I expected. Everyone was playing different games, laughing and cheering each other on. Even those who didn’t play enjoyed watching along. One of our staff members didn’t get the memo about the time change from 5pm to 6pm and arrived early. The bar staff apparently entertained her the entire time, made her a few drinks, and had a laugh with her about being “stood up.” In the end, she said she didn’t mind waiting the hour at all, she had a great time with the staff. We held the event on a Tuesday night, and I was worried the atmosphere might be flat, but there were a few other groups there, and if anything, it felt like the bar staff were there just for us. A 10/10 experience. I am buzzing today, knowing what an amazing time everyone had.

Absolute ball of a time, great location, ambience and value for money. Special mentions to Hollie and Ron, as they went above and beyond. Hosted a work end of year function for 25+ people and found the service at a high standard. Well done 👏

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour Melbourne Leg edition, I visited here on happy hour had a couple gin and soda waters with lime, to go down with a cheese burger pizza while playing a game of darts. Cool venue reminds me of ballers in San Francisco.
