I haven't been to Bear Brass since just before Christmas and am happy I decided to stop by today. I chose one of their specials, fish of the day: Barramundi, Wombok, Kale and Salsa Verde. I wasn't sure how they would serve the vegetables, and was very surprised by the presentation when my meal arrived... pleasantly surprised. Some folks don't like kale as it is quite chewy, however finely shredded with the wombok, it was perfect. The salsa verde was nice and tangy. The barramundi was moist with a lovely crispy skin. This was a wonderful dish for a warm day (any day really). The great staff were kind enough to seat me where I could enjoy the stellar location of this popular eaterie. Always so enjoyable!

Attended this lovely establishment for a company event on a hot summers evening. The service was great from all the staff and the drinks were delicious. Food was okay however it was a very busy Friday night and the staff would have been working double time to meet demand. I’d definitely visit this location again, probably indoors if the temps are up.

We had a quick bite before a river cruise. Staff were very accommodating in getting our order going so that we had time to eat before the cruise. Food was great and I would definitely go back again. Fish tacos were a good choice for our young diner who could assemble them himself. Nice experience, but be sure to go in through entrance facing the river, as we were told off for going through the side from the shopping centre.

I suggest you go there for drinks or coffee only. We ordered a burger which was over cooked and a mid/rear steak which we got well done instead. Send the steak back hopefully we will be lucky the second time but it came as mid/well. The waitress never came to check if our order was delivered right. Don’t think she cared

We came here randomly as we need a place for our baby to sit and have a meal. The food was okay and not very impressive. We had smoke salmon, smashed avo and toastie. The smoke salmon was quite salty and the sourdough was too crispy that was hard to cut through. The smashed avo was okay. We had to wait quite long for the food to come out.
