25/07/2026 Located by the riverside, had outdoor dining as well. Food can be better though, we did not really like the broccolini as we hoped we would. It was supposed to be chargrilled but came out soggy and wet.. and it’s not from the sauce.. feels like it was steamed right before, quickly grilled in a pan and then done. Had the special winter drinks, baileys with hot chocolate and marshmallows. Really nice, warms the soul also from Melbourne’s rainy weather. 🌦️ The pizza was good! And the linguine added extra prawns. The pork belly is good, nice flavours! Eat before it fires up and becomes hard

Back for another lunch at BearBrass today. Last time I had their snapper with a nice tangy salsa verde, paired with broccoli. Today I decided to have their $20 special of beetroot falafels, with hommus and grilled flatbread. But for me, it needed a salad, so I ordered their pear and rocket salad as a side. This turned out to be a really nice pairing. The flatbread was lovely and warm, with some crispy spots, great hommus, and I loved the crispy while chickpeas. The beetroot falafels were moist, with a nice crust. I had planned to have dessert, but the meal itself filled me up, so finished simply with a perfect flat white. What I like most about BearBrass, along with the pleasant staff and enjoyable location, is the consistency of the experience. Whenever I go there, I know I'm going to enjoy my lunch visit. (I haven't been there for breakfast since pre covid days when they were open in the early mornings on weekdays... I'll soon check out their weekend breakfasts).

Enjoyed a lovely brunch with some friends and will probably be back again to try lunch. Enjoyed the meal and coffees and of course the view as we were fortunate enough to have superb weather. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics to share other than the coffee as the conversation and catch up was too good!

Had chicken schnitzel which was very well done and taste great and decent sized(very big) portion as well. Wife had roti with spiced chickpeas and they were absolutely so flavourful so much wanted to swap. Excellent service from staff . Might come again for those chickpeas.

Attended this lovely establishment for a company event on a hot summers evening. The service was great from all the staff and the drinks were delicious. Food was okay however it was a very busy Friday night and the staff would have been working double time to meet demand. I’d definitely visit this location again, probably indoors if the temps are up.
