$29 for this bowl of lettuce. Menu says 'caesar salad'. Had to go up and and ask for bacon to be added to the salad. They offered to bring a bowl of bacon separately? On what planet is a bowl of lettuce and sauce $29? Absolute joke, would definitely not recommend. Gave 5 stars for atmosphere because Milly Joel was playing but otherwise AVOID.

***Updated 13 July: I left a Google review a few weeks ago after a poor experience for dinner at The Duke. The lovely manager Grace responded and asked me to email them re: a complimentary meal. My partner and I were welcomed back last Friday and received a complimentary drink and dinner for two. It was really lovely, Grace looked after us so well and the food was great!*** My boyfriend and I popped in after some late night shopping in the city yesterday. I have been there twice for work events I had planned and it was great. However, the dinner was horrendously overpriced and the food quality was really poor. I ordered the prawn & chorizo linguine (which was $40!!). It was the blandest meal I have had in Melbourne. I couldn't even eat it, the chorizo was bright pink balls randomly thrown in the pasta. I ate the prawns and left. My boyfriend ordered the chicken burger & chips. Again really really bland. We could have saved ourselves over $80!!! and cooked at home. Good venue for a drink and watching a game, but that's it. Probably won't be back.

Dropped into the Duke of Wellington on a Sunday arvo for a drink in the main bar before heading up to the rooftop for a meal. Despite the drizzle and bursts of sunshine, the rooftop felt welcoming — plenty of space, greenery, and a relaxed vibe. We did have to wipe down our own table, but once settled, it was a great spot to unwind. The roast of the day was perfect, with rich, flavoursome gravy, and the chicken parmy hit the mark too. The salad was a bit soggy, but honestly, who comes here for the salad? Great Sunday atmosphere overall.

Had a lovely dinner at the rooftop, Some sides that were okay. But the prawn pasta with chorizo was a win. ☺️
