Goldi's has fully retractable roofing and side awnings, as well as misters for the heat and heaters for the cool. Goldilock's is an outdoor venue that is well prepared for all of Melbourne's weird and wonderful weather.

Enjoy the buzzing atmosphere, fresh in your own reserved area while our staff take care of you and your esteemed guests.
Half Rooftop events are strictly capped at 40 guests, and do not have access to audio equipment as there are other bookings on the rooftop during the event.

To get to the rooftop bar, u will have a funky experience passing the fully stickered tiny little lift with a narrow old wooden staircases with both walls with colourful paintings. Delicious cocktail we had two. Small space but fully packed, did not try the food. Though the waitor at door (caucasian) sounded a little bias, not sure for what reason - maybe we do not look like roof-top bar goers. 🤔 Other than that, enjoyed finding the space...

Had been wanting to check this place out for ages and finally visited with a friend. It absolutely lived up to the hype! The atmosphere is fantastic, with beautiful décor and a cozy, welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the cocktail menu was full of interesting options. We tried the Baby Bear cocktail, the Little Bear shot, and the Into the Wood cocktail, and all three were delicious and thoughtfully made. One small note: if possible, I'd recommend taking the stairs, as the lift felt a bit unsafe during our visit. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely somewhere I'd happily return to.

I visited Goldilocks Rooftop Bar in April 2026 for a friend’s leaving party during a night out in the CBD. We had started earlier at Kingpin Melbourne, and Goldilocks was an easy walk from there, making it a great next stop in the city. It’s also super convenient to reach by public transport, with plenty of nearby tram stops and a short walk from Flinders Street Station. Finding the rooftop itself can be a bit of an adventure though. If you don’t know where to look, it would be easy to miss the entrance or wander around for a minute. Thankfully I was with friends who knew the way and guided us straight there. We took the lift up and then climbed the final stairs to the rooftop bar itself. That hidden entrance adds to the charm, because once you arrive it really does feel like a tucked away little gem above the city. Despite it being a busy Saturday night, the wait for a table was only around five minutes for our group of eight, which I thought was pretty impressive. There were lots of people up there, from couples to larger groups, but it still felt relaxed rather than overcrowded. The layout is great. There’s a bar near the entrance, then seating spread through the rooftop space, including bar style spots overlooking the CBD skyline. Looking out over the city lights and surrounding buildings gave the whole place a really nice atmosphere. One of my favourite parts was the styling. Goldilocks leans into a playful, whimsical vibe with soft lighting, fairy lights, and cosy decor that makes the space feel so inviting. The staff were lovely throughout the night. My friends ordered the Little Bear shot and the Big Bear cocktail. One friend wasn’t sold on the drink itself, but I absolutely loved the bear shaped ice cubes, which fit the theme perfectly. Others grabbed beers on tap and enjoyed them while we all sat around chatting. The music and noise level were also spot on. It had energy and atmosphere, but it wasn’t so loud that you had to yell across the table, which made it ideal for catching up properly and having a laugh. They also had food available, though by the time we arrived it was later in the night and we didn’t want to risk ordering if the kitchen was closing. The menu looked good though, so I’d definitely be keen to go back and try it another time. Overall, I really liked Goldilocks Rooftop Bar. It has hidden gem energy, lovely city views, fun drinks, friendly staff, and a stylish rooftop atmosphere that still feels comfortable and social. I’d happily return for another night out and would love to explore more of the cocktail list next time.

Had an amazing time at this rooftop bar! The Peach Iced Tea was a standout — a bold yet smooth mix of vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triple sec, peach tea syrup, lemon and coke. Perfectly balanced and dangerously easy to drink. The vegetable spring rolls were crispy and fresh, and the city view was absolutely stunning. The overall vibe was relaxed and stylish — perfect for unwinding. Special thanks to the staff for being friendly, and welcoming — they really made the experience even better. Will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there for bottomless brunch, be aware that bottomless brunch menu is different from brunch menu!! Food covered in the bottomless brunch was not particularly good because there are only a plate of fries, dumplings, spring roles and wonton for 2 of us to share for the 2hrs session. However, the drinks were amazing, had 6 cocktail options and they are all yummy!!! The staff was so friendly and OMG they came to take the order for my next drink literally the second i put my glass down - for the entire 2 hours. I had 7 cocktails and they were so kind to ask me if I want my 8th glass in the last 5mins!! Would go back for the drinks!!!
