Unfortunately, this stay was quite disappointing. On the first day of check‑in, we already noticed several strands of hair on the bed, even though the room initially looked neat and well presented. During a shower, the electricity and air‑conditioning suddenly cut off without warning, which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. At night, there was a strange noise coming from the area between the safe and the fridge, making it difficult to rest properly. The shower head was fixed and could not be handheld, which reduced comfort. Slippers were also not provided. On the third day, we requested a room refresh without bed‑making, but the instruction was not followed and the bed was still made. Despite explaining this at the front counter, the request was misunderstood, which was frustrating. The room itself was not very spacious, although the location is walkable and the shower area is relatively large. However, the shower curtain was visibly dirty, with brown stains at the bottom, this was unacceptable for a hotel under the IHG brand. Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to guest instructions need significant improvement.

Excellent hôtel in downtown, close to Southern cross station and trams. Clean, spacious and functional rooms with great city views. Breakfast buffet was excellent, though a bit crowded at times. Gym and laundry room are a welcome plus. Would definitely book again next time.

The experience was great. The whole family enjoyed the experience. The room was located on one of the top floors and the breakfast menu was pre-set by the hotel. As it was the Express Holiday inn the kids and adult breakfast was included but the lunch menu didn't have free meals for kids with a paying adult lunch or dinner like the normal Holiday inn hotels have. (We didn't know/check before booking the express hotel) The location was in the centre of the city so all sight seeing Markets and Shopping central was easily accessible by public transport especially the free tram routes in the CBD 🌟👍 Very helpful and friendly staff☺️ Laundry_coin operated, neat and clean gym, both located on lower level of hotel building..and 3 levels of parking for guests on a discounted price. Restaurants, cafes and shops all located within walking/short driving distance.

Comfortable room with queen bed and pretty good view, decent breakfast included. Note rooms are not soundproof, can clearly hear conversations next door. Staff are friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near southern cross train station, skybus terminal and many tram routes. Easy to get to/from airport, the suburbs and the city centre

Recommend this hotel and we will come back next time! A room with two queen beds is spacious and comfortable for family. Room services come daily and thank you for changing the floor towels, cleaning the rubbish bins and even tidying up our beds. Buffet breakfast included, and I like the simple congee with chinese celery 芫茜白粥 that makes my stomach feel good in the morning especially eating many cuisines during our holiday trip. Location is convenient as the Train Station and Light Rail Stations are around the corner. Good for us to go anywhere in the city.
