⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true 5-star experience! The drinks here are absolutely amazing, but my favourite combination has to be their spicy chicken wings with the special creamy sauce — I think it’s a mix of yoghurt and mayo. Honestly, it’s one of the best combinations you can try here! I come here at least once a week and it never disappoints. I haven’t found anywhere else in Melbourne that does this combination of great drinks and delicious chicken wings quite like this place. The rest of the food is also fantastic, and the staff are always lovely. Definitely a genuine 5-star spot and one of my favourites in Melbourne. My only wish is that the kitchen stayed open a little later!

Great atmosphere and a really enjoyable night overall at Hophous Bar. The service was friendly and attentive, which made a big difference to the experience. The food was good, though my steak arrived cold, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, it would have easily been a 5-star visit. Would still recommend and keen to come back!

We enjoyed a truly delicious meal accompanied by stunning views over the Yarra River and the Melbourne skyline, the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The customer service was exceptional, especially from Elliot, who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. He thoughtfully guided us through the menu, helped us choose wines and beers, and ensured we were well looked after throughout the entire evening. An outstanding experience all around, we’ll definitely be back again very soon!

Vicky was one of the best server I have encountered. She first asked if everything was fine with our food and we responded yes but half way through my steak i had to ask her if they can do pan fry instead of grilled as mine was a bit charred resulting to bitterly taste. Maybe not my style for steak but the way she handled my request and how the restaurant took the food and replaced with a new one was commendable. Indeed they made sure the customer is happy with their food. Mind you the sauce on the steak was one of the most flavourful I got. Thank you for the great service!

High-quality food and service. Clean. Great views. Comfortable. We were lucky to find a quiet winter lunch spot. Table service was excellent. Enclosed deck seating was warm, bright, and comfortable. No trouble getting a gluten-free option. Plenty of seating options. Toilets modern, clean, and well maintained. Not just a beer hall.
