With 30 flavours of beer on tap, the craftiest of them will soon feature as a boutique batch from the custom microbrewery, scheduled to arrive on site early in the new year. An exclusive brew will change every month and is personally prepared by local Victorian makers. Explore the fridge menu for more local and international drops to sip by the river. You won’t be asking for "the usual" at Hopscotch. If cocktails are more your thing, you can’t go past one of the DIY Kocktail Kits, tap cocktails or spiked slushies - frozé anyone? Or ask the bartender to conjure up something with a bite. The signatures will have you doing a little shoulder shimmy - you know the one. Ever been told not to play with your food? Not at Hopscotch! The chef’s menu is all about a quick, quality hand full of fun, so you can balance your drink on the other hand. Opposite the Yarra, this place is perfect for catching the game or catching up with friends in Melbourne's CBD 🍻 They have more than 35 beers on tap, and here you can order a beer paddle with 4 different beers. We also tried their signature cocktail paddle with 4 mini cocktails 🤩 For food they serve some quick options like fried chicken, burgers and fresh bowls, plus a Sunday roast. We tried a couple of dishes and loved the fried chicken tacos and chipotle black bean nachos 😋 What we tried: 🌮 Fried Chicken Tacos $27 🍸 Classic Paddle $26.5 🍺 Winter Beer Paddle $20 🧄 Oooozzzzzy Cheeeesy Garlic Bread $16 🌶 Chipotle Black Bean Nachos $27 🥦 Buffalo Fried Cauliflower Nuggets $25

Hopscotch is a fun, casual place on Southbank. Staff are very friendly. Meals come out quickly. Live music is the perfect volume. You could easily chill here all afternoon looking out at the river view and chatting with your mates. They've got an issue with the payment system so you'll need to bring your physical card or use cash. That was pretty annoying. The Parmas have too much tomatoe paste so have low expectations of them. Otherwise everything is totally fine 🙂

Good beer, good music, good atmosphere' very friendly staff. Plenty of craft beer options and a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Ended up staying longer than planned. Definitely a spot I'd visit again next time I'm in Melbourne.

Had such a good experience at Hopscotch Melbourne! The food was honestly so good — everything we ordered was full of flavour, fresh and really well presented. There was a great variety on the menu, and every dish we tried was delicious. The portions were also really generous, so we definitely left feeling satisfied. The drinks were definitely another highlight! There was such a good selection to choose from, and they were all made really well. The cocktails were not only delicious but also looked amazing when they came out. You could tell there was a lot of thought put into the presentation, and they were the perfect balance of flavours without being overly sweet. Definitely the kind of drinks you want to keep trying when you’re there! The atmosphere was also such a vibe. It had a really fun, lively feel while still being a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your food and drinks. It would be perfect for a girls’ night, birthday, date night or even just going out for dinner and drinks with friends. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hopscotch Melbourne. The food, drinks, atmosphere and overall experience were all amazing. We had such a good time and I’ll definitely be coming back again!
