Nestled just behind Hotel Railway’s preserved historical facade, sits the laid-back Corner Bar. With an impressive u-shaped bar at its heart and light wooden perfect space for private events with a variety of seating options from cosy booths to high top tables. The drinks list is extensive, featuring fermentation driven cocktails, craft spirits and smallbatch vermouth. The Corner Bar suits events up to 60 guests standing with a vinyl-only DJ setup there is plenty of wiggle room to boogie late into the night,

The Western Courtyard is another unique space to discover at Hotel Railway. Protected from the elements with a mix of low and high top seating the Western Courtyard is a hidden gem. Perfect for a special lunch or dinner. Think a long-table gathering where good wine is poured, a delicious Mediterranean banquet is shared and guests take their time enjoying great company. This space is suitable for either our stand-up menus or our sit-down Banquet menu.

Our extensive Beer Garden is an inner city oasis that provides an amazing outdoor space to celebrate your next birthday or social event. With unique features like the largest LED screen TV in Brunswick, foundations of a forgotten house, outdoor DJ booth & ample room to move it’s hard to resist the Hotel Railway Beer Garden. Gas heaters and a roaring outdoor replace make this space just as comfortable in the evening as it is during the day. Our half venue hire includes our Corner Bar, Dining Room and Western Courtyard. This option gives your guests private entry/exit points, our Corner Bar to dance & drink in plus a mixture of stand up and sit-down options for mingling and grazing. For good measure, we’ll piano!
