La Cabra Mordialloc is a Mexican restaurant and event venue on palm-lined Main Street, bringing together three distinct function spaces, each with its own mood and character.
The ground-floor Courtyard is relaxed and garden-like, layered with weathered brick, booth seating, natural timber and greenery. Level 1 Function Room offers a warmer, more intimate setting, where exposed brick and timber floors are softened by tan leather, natural light and rich, amber-toned evening lighting. Above it all, the Rooftop provides an open-air setting overlooking Main Street, ideal for afternoon gatherings that carry into sunset.
From long lunches and private dinners to birthdays, engagement parties, work functions and cocktail events for up to 80 guests, La Cabra combines warm, character-filled spaces with Mexican sharing menus, canapés, cocktails and drinks packages designed for celebrating together.

Courtyard
La Cabra’s ground-floor Courtyard is a relaxed, light-filled space framed by exposed brick, deep blue booths, warm timber and greenery overhead. With a retractable roof and flexible layout, it suits birthdays, group dining and casual celebrations for up to 40 guests.

Has to be the best venue in Mordialloc's shopping precinct. Down stairs there is cosy booths Infront of the busy kitchen area. You can smell the amazing dishes being created. Staff are very welcoming and the cocktail jugs are made with love as we were told. Food was sensational one of the best Mexicans I have had ever. It was all prepared and freshly made. Tasted amazing. After dinner head up the stairs to the roof top bar where it over looks the main street. Highly recommend visiting La Cabra this summer for some amazing Mexican food and drinks.

Booked this location for a catchup with some friends. When I walked in I was immediately impressed with the attention and effort invested into the decor, it really sets the scene. The staff deserve special mentions because although they were run off their feed, they still maintained good service throughout. The food was presented well and was of a good standard. The burrito bowl was definitely the stand out of the evening.

Food was absolutely delicious ! I had the Biria Tacos and I want to go back just for those. The staff were amazing. I had a party of 9 (ladies night) and they managed to try and get us a nice spot for our group in the courtyard when we walked in rather then the function room. The atmosphere was great. Food come out at a reasonable time especially with how busy it was.

This highly accessible Mexican restaurant is a must go when you’re in Mordialloc. There are amazing views from the rooftop bar. This is a great place to catch up with friends or family as a cater to all pallets. They have a large selection of delicious cocktails and staff are all very lovely. Fantastic night at La Cabra with wife, son and three other friends. Great food, but the service from Tom really stood out. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly skilled at making guests feel welcome. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We will definitely be back.
