Despite arriving quite late due to flight disruptions, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. The 24-hour reception service was a huge help, making check-in quick and stress-free so I could simply head to my room and rest after a long day of travel. Throughout my stay, housekeeping was efficient and reliable. The room was always clean, immaculate, and well-presented. The views were gorgeous, the hotel was bright and inviting, and the location is fantastic. Being close to the Queen Victoria Market and public transport made getting around very easy, while the surrounding area felt safe and comfortable. The presence of security on some evenings also added extra peace of mind. My only minor complaint is that I would have appreciated complimentary water bottles in the room fridge. Beyond that, I genuinely couldn't fault my experience. Overall, I would rate my stay 10 out of 10. I would happily stay here again and will certainly consider Jupiter Hotel for future business trips to Melbourne

We stayed here for 5 days, and had a great experience at lyf on Elizabeth Melbourne, right next to Queen Victoria Market. The location is super convenient—it's in the free tram zone and easy to get to all the main tourist spots. What really stood out was the staff: they're incredibly friendly and sunny, always greeting us with big smiles. It made such a difference to feel so welcome. The facilities are well thought out. I loved the kitchen—it's big, clean, and has some basic ingredients available like salt, oil, and paper. There's also a gym, cozy sofas, and a washer and dryer (note: both need to be paid for). The room itself is pretty standard but comfortable—the comforter is nice, and the shower heats up very fast, which is so important on a cold day. One small thing: the room lighting is a bit dim. It didn't bother me because I mostly used the room for sleeping, but if you need to work, head to level 1—great lighting and space there. Overall, all good. We would definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at lyf on Elizabeth Melbourne overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and very centrally located – many attractions, restaurants, and cafés are within easy walking distance. We would especially like to highlight the staff: everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely made an effort to make our stay enjoyable. The room was tidy and well maintained, and we would definitely consider staying here again. However, we do have a few small suggestions for improvement. In the bathroom there are unfortunately no shelves or surfaces to place personal items, even though there would clearly be enough space. The wardrobe also only had three hangers, despite having room for many more. In general, the room could benefit from a few more storage or surface areas for clothes and personal belongings. Another point is that there is no room cleaning during the stay. This would not necessarily be an issue, but there is only one very small trash bin in the room and none in the bathroom. Without regular cleaning or additional bins, the trash fills up quite quickly. Aside from these minor points, we had a very good experience and would still happily recommend the hotel.

First, the negative. No kettle or microwave or tea and coffee in the rooms. Not everyone likes communal kitchens. Also, the rooms are not well lit. Lastly, the tvs. The 7 and 2 suites of channels were not working and there seemed to be no effort to fix it. There were also no foxtel channels despite them being listed on the TV and the website says "selected satellite TV channels". I questioned this and was dismissed by the maintenance guy as "we've never had those channels" (before anyone jumps on me, i was here for business reasons, not a holiday). The positives: the food is great. The staff is exceptional. Almost every staff member was amazing, particularly Jenny, Karishna and especially Jayde. Jayde in particular was super attentive, especially making sure I was aware of what was safe for me to eat (I am coeliac). I dont think ive ever had such good service from staff anywhere else.

A Great place for a couple to stay a few days ! (My Partner & I stayed 4 neat nites)... we were initially greeted by Bianca at Reception, a luvly bubbly person who checked us in & made it a breeze ! Right down to our wooden swipe keys ! Explained it was an eco friendly appartments, with sharing Communal type kitchenettes , laundry & dining ... we generally are a couple that do not enjoy communal type facilities, Lyf however is different.. make a coffee, use the microwave , share the washing load! All the Facililites are modern ! Clean fresh ✨️ 👌! A great location right on the main Tram line ! Close to Queen Victoria Markets the hustle & bustle of busy streetwise, with plenty of eateries... shopping , & DFO just a tram ride away, as was Southbank restaurants, the "Yarra" ... great central location 👍
