The Matthew Flinders Hotel offers state of the art facilities for all function types. Whether you looking to host a milestone birthday party, a presentation dinner, a work Christmas party or any other social event, our spaces are sure to match your requirements and budget. With capacity to host 300 guests seated or 700 guests for a stand up cocktail party, The Longitude Room comes equipped with an extensive private bar, 2 stage areas with 2 dancefloors, full audio visual set-up, private entry point and outdoor smoking area. The room can be sectioned with a soundproof wall to provide you with a more intimate space (pictured) for 140 guests seated and 400 guests standing, with one dance floor and stage and a shared smoking area with the Victory Room.

Divide The Longitude Room in half with a soundproof wall and you have The Victory Room, perfect for all social events including birthdays, networking nights, sporting club dinners, just to name a few! Facilities include large dance floor and raised stage area for your band or DJ, fully stocked bar, private bathrooms, exclusive entry point and outdoor smoking area. The Victory Room can accommodate 120 guests seated and 300 guests for a stand-up cocktail event.

We booked an overnight stay at the Matthew Flinders in their accommodation rooms and we weren't disappointed. The room wasn't flashy but it's all that we needed for our stay. The rooms were clean, had the basics and a nice big shower head with hot water. We also had dinner over at their Bistro and that was very enjoyable and relaxing. The arcade room is amazing with so many games and lit up. The food was nice and atmosphere great. The staff were polite and friendly and the motel also gives you a free drink to have while having dinner if you stay at their accommodation.

We decided to bring our mothers in for an early mother's Day lunch on Sat at MGH. We had ordered 2x Chicken Parmigianas, 2x Fish n chips and a surf & turf. The ChickParm was tender and sauce favoursome, the fish&Chips was huge and good value with 2x big pieces of fish. We all enjoyed our meals but the Mrs advised that the meat on her S&T was a little tough but overall nice and our drinks went down well.

Such a nice spot to come have a drink, watch a game or do other activity offered by the venue. This two storey place offers a menu for such hungry buggers like me who needs food with drink! I truly admire the space and the option to get delivered to your table no matter where you're sitting. The best part is, it's near chaddy so I could go for a movie afterwards. I wouldn't be going to this spot if it weren't for my Aussie friends who love to have a chill time at the pub.

Really nice meal! The cheesy garlic bread was so delicious. Meals came out quickly and has a great arcade and playground for kids.

We absolutely love this place. Service isn't always on point, kids arcade, games dont alwsys work but overall kids have a blast. Steak is what I get every time. So good, really smoke grilled flavour, they could be bigger. I always get a side of the surf and turf sauce because my child loves it, very nice, seafood is perfectly cooked in it. Side salad could be bigger, mushroom sauce is really nice but could give more never enough. I bring my own Hot English Mustard so definitely something they should have. Drinks are always great we always grab a couple of jugs. My friends always order different meals. Only negative is the kids fish and chips is super fishy and gross. Otherwise everytime weve every come everyones always been super pleased with their meals. If ypu want a great steak, this place is amazing for steakv👌.
