Pretty cool place! Riding the mechanical bull is free, and you would just need to sign a waiver via QR code. The place was not too busy, so we mustered our courage to try riding the bull, and it was so fun! Cool atmosphere, would totally come back again!

Great for beers and beer food. Kids meals too. Lots of tables and seating options, indoor and outdoor. Some arcade games and pool tables. A mechanical bull, but out of commission when we were there. Popular for bucks and hens nights. Surprising number of people seem to wear cowboy hats non-ironically. Reservations recommend.

The Wild West Moon Dog in Footscray is one of the most unique and entertaining spots I’ve been to in a while. Spread across two huge floors, it’s a massive venue packed with character—from its quirky Western saloon vibe to the mechanical bull right in the middle of the space, which adds a whole lot of fun to the night. A live band was playing upstairs that night. Food-wise, the corn ribs and crispy potatoes were absolute standouts. The corn ribs were buttery, smoky, and packed with flavour, while the potatoes were golden, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned—simple dishes done incredibly well. The atmosphere is high-energy and playful, making it the perfect place for groups, celebrations, or anyone just looking to unwind in a lively space. Despite the size and weekend crowd, service was quick and friendly, and the drinks list had plenty of options to keep everyone happy.

Fun, quirky, and definitely worth a visit! The atmosphere is super chill, and there’s always something to do — from shooting pool to trying your luck at Disney trivia, and even hopping on the bull for a laugh. The tacos were tasty, and the range of Fizzers is awesome if you like trying different drinks. The food is a little on the pricey side. A great place to hang out with friends and enjoy something a bit different! Would visit again. 🌮🍻🤠
