La Madonna Bar is one of Melbourne’s most stylish lounges, offering a spacious setting overlooking Little Collins Street. With wooden barrels aging spirits as your backdrop, moody marble and leather interiors create the perfect atmosphere for private soirées for up to 100 guests. We stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and had a fantastic experience, but this time around, everything was even more exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The room was immaculate and beautifully maintained, the gym was spacious and well-equipped, the club happy hour was excellent, and the restaurant served absolutely phenomenal food. Every detail was thoughtfully delivered, making the entire stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. A very special mention to Freddie (not sure if I got his name right, he is the venue manager), whose wine knowledge is truly impressive. His passion, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for what he does elevated our dining experience to another level. He took the time to recommend wines with great care and insight, and his warm hospitality left a lasting impression on us. Overall, it was an outstanding stay and one that exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely be looking forward to coming back again.

We had an incredible stay at Next Hotel Melbourne, Curio Collection by Hilton and truly can’t say enough great things about the team. After a long road trip from Sydney, Jag made our check-in seamless and stress-free. He walked us through everything from self-parking to breakfast details and membership benefits. The best part was the surprise anniversary upgrade along with a bottle of champagne, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is in a perfect location, with tram stations just a few kilometers away. There’s shopping, food, and entertainment all around, making it super convenient to get anywhere and explore the city. Dining at La Madonna Restaurant & Bar was just as amazing. Emmy was always warm, welcoming, and attentive. She made sure we had great seating, coffee ready, and our food came out hot and delicious every time. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for two more nights. Haleem went above and beyond to assist with our reservation and made the process effortless. The rooms are nice, clean, and very up to date. The hotel staff is truly amazing I honestly feel like “no” is not in their vocabulary. This team has set the standard high for what a 5-star hotel experience should be. We’re so grateful for the outstanding service and will definitely be back.

I wish I was staying for the entire weekend. The room was chic, spacious and so well designed. This was the first time I used a pillow menu and I slept like a log. Everyone was so friendly from check in to breakfast to check out. Not a single hiccup. Just great service from a great hotel.

I always have a great experience at NEXT Hotel by Hilton. I stay here every time I am in Melbourne. Andrew (concierge) was very professional, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. He made everything smooth and welcoming. The staff at the front desk and throughout the property are also the best around. Property itself is fairly new, modern, and very clean. Highly recommended!

Last night was the first night my wife and I had been able to go out since our son was born in December. We combined that with being her birthday dinner. I took her to Next Hotel for a nightcap because I'd received good service in the past. Unhappily, that did not happen here. We stood at the bar on level 3. There were only a handful of patrons in the lounge area. We were totally ignored by the two bar staff - and they actually started serving other people who had come to the bar after us. They then resumed their own personal conversation and polishing glassware without so much as even looking at us. A manager appeared, and I caught his attention - but he immediately looked away and walked off without saying anything or returning. Even as we turned and walked away to leave the bar, the bar staff didn't even look up from polishing glasses. I regret the time that was wasted by taking my wife to Next Hotel - especially as it ate into the short time we had available for a final drink before getting back to bub at home. We will not be returning - and if you value your own time, I'd recommend that anyone considering this venue looks elsewhere.
