Comfortable rooms. The bathrooms need a slightly better design. The shampoo dispenser keeps coming in the way. Very little space to have a shower. Food quality is very good and it will be great if you can have more menu items. Overall, a pleasant stay and this is my second time.

I stayed here for work and it's been a fantastic experience - from the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the quality of the bedding and the service of the staff. I will definitely come back here to stay again. it's also convenient and close to shopping centre and restaurants.

absolutely loved my stay at Novotel Glen Waverley. From the moment it started with the lovely staff at check in. The room itself was a King Deluxe and was beautiful and had everything we needed. And being so centrally located near the shops in glen waverley was fantastic, being able to just go downstairs and be right in the middle of kingsway was great! We loved our stay at novotel glen waverley, thank you

If you value your health or even your life, please avoid booking this hotel! We stayed at Novotel for four nights. From the moment we walked into the room on the first day, there was a strong smell of urine. But since we were exhausted that day, we just went straight to rest. The next day, I informed the front desk staff. She went up to check and claimed she couldn’t smell anything, and said there were no rooms available to switch to. I asked her again if she was sure, she brought another staff member to smell it. That person didn’t give a clear answer but said they could spray Glen20. I told them not to because the smell is too strong. Then they suggested another type of spray, and I again told them not to spray anything because those chemicals are too harsh. They then said they could use a machine to suck the odour. I said I didn’t think it would help, since the urine had most likely soaked into the carpet, but they could try. Twenty minutes later, when I returned to the room, the machine had already been taken away, and it was obvious that they had sprayed something inside the room. I even told my husband, “Didn’t we tell them not to spray anything? Why did they still spray chemicals?” At that time, my daughter was at her friend’s room and didn’t come back until around 9 pm. Not long after she returned, she suddenly had difficulty breathing and started coughing. We initially thought it might be pneumonia or asthma (she has no history of asthma). Around 11 pm, we realised her condition wasn’t improving, so we called an ambulance. After an initial assessment, the paramedics said it wasn’t pneumonia or asthma. After hearing what happened, they suspected it might be an allergic reaction caused by the hotel’s spray. Luckily her condition slowly improved, so we didn’t go to the emergency department. On the third day, the hotel didn’t proactively contact us about changing rooms. My husband said since we only had two nights left, he didn’t want to be troubled to ask them again. On the fourth morning, I approached the front desk again, and the only response I received was that they would inform the manager—nothing else. No follow-up, no action, and certainly no compensation! What shocked me even more was when I saw staff spraying disinfectant directly onto the dining tables during breakfast service, with unused cutlery already on those tables! After wiping the table, she simply placed the cutlery back for the next guest to use. That is disinfectant—how much toxic chemical ended up on the utensils? This is a complete disregard for customer safety!

Overall we were happy with our kid free night away. It was relatively local to us and parking was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. My husband enjoyed the heated pool and sauna, we enjoyed the restaurant and easy access to shops and alternative dining. The room was comfortable, but small and basic - not the King Superior room the title suggested.
