Just… WOW. We had the most incredible wedding reception at Plaza Ballroom in January, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We were hoping for a fairytale, romantic celebration, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly that. Every moment of the night felt magical, and we are so thankful to everyone who made it possible. We are especially grateful to Thavishi, our Wedding & Event Sales Executive. From day one, over a year before our wedding, she was caring, attentive, and amazing with communication. Her attention to detail and willingness to find every single answer for us to help achieve our dream day was incredible. We couldn’t have done it without her and we are so thankful for everything she did. Another huge shout-out goes to Janet, Production Manager. What a powerhouse! Janet’s talent for all things production was evident from the moment we met her. The ballroom looked absolutely incredible, and the lights and effects made everything feel extra special. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her expertise and creativity. On the day, we felt beyond lucky to have Lucy, Arabella, and James from the Plaza Ballroom team helping to make everything run perfectly. Thank you James for keeping the day on track and running so smoothly. And where would we be without the beautiful Lucy and Arabella (Belle)? We can’t put into words how grateful we are to you both. You were there every moment of the night, going above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed or wanted, and making our night truly magical. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone kept commenting on how delicious everything was. The waiters and service team were amazing, always attentive and friendly, making sure every guest had everything they needed. The tech team were also fantastic, making sure the music, lighting, and all the effects ran seamlessly, which made the evening feel even more magical. Plaza Ballroom itself is breathtaking. Our guests still tell us that walking into the venue felt like stepping into a fairytale. The charm and beauty of the space are incredible, and we had the most amazing time celebrating our wedding there. I attended an event held at the Plaza Ballroom. Every detail was managed with style, grace and a touch of wow. The event was decorated and catered and provided entertainment - the sax player and DJ was amazing. Food and wine was served on time with the 140+ guests wined and dined with impeccable service.

The venue is amazingly beautiful and classical vintage theme. It is very spacious and can comfortably take 40 tables.

An amazing iconic venue in the heart of the city. Beautiful provenance and dates back to the 1920s and captures all the glitz and glamour of the point end of town. Excellent live band Baker boys with a wide repertoire and an excellent auctioneer rounded off the excellent food and a great result for a very worthy charity. Money well spent

Gorgeous venue for a work Christmas party. The food and wine were excellent this year (an improvement on last year) and the serving staff were great, although our "drinks manager" tended to disappear from time to time and some people at our table had to go and look for her.
