Very disappointing stay as we were looking forward to staying here but very unclean! The state of the room upon arrival left me speechless. It is very clear that the level of hygiene at this so called 'hotel' is non existent and the attention to detail regarding cleanliness is so low that they missed stained underwear (which was not even hidden/under anything). I honestly believe these rooms don't get cleaned properly at all let alone needing a deep clean. Heads up to families looking to book especially with asthmatic children. Real shame considering the hotel is located in a nice area and has so much potential. P.S They offered nothing except sending housekeeping when I complained. No point as we can see the very poor job at hand. I literally had to do my own cleaning with my own disinfectant wipes and even that wasnt enough. My toddlers socks were completely black within 5 minutes, mind you he was wearing brown socks. There's a huge difference between tidying up and being made to look clean and ACTUALLY being clean. I am not one to complain however I am still in utter shock by the hygiene standards of this place.

A nice place to stay if you're visiting the western suburbs of Melbourne. Good rooms with reasonable amenities and located above some excellent restaurants and cafes as well as an IGA and Dan Murphys. The only downside is that street it's located on has become very busy and can get gridlocked during peak periods.

After hours access at 10:30 pm both room keys were unable to access lobby, after a long wait in the dark lobby and an unhelful phone call answered from sydenham, one key was functional for about 5 minutes, upon leaving to access our car another couple had the same issue. No email response, no contact after issue. Greater that 4 weeks later finally a reply, offering us a "discount and upgrade" should we choose to stay again which seems a joke to me. Steer clear of this establishment. TGe promise of "retraining our staff" is clearly nonsense as the same issue appears in other reviews previously. Poor form

Do not stay here if you value your sleep and money. Similar to previous complaint with noises, you will have bad sleepless nights staying here. Party in small pack room, loud shouting and singing, disorderly behaviour were seem to be allowed by management, lack of respect, lack of control.
