My New Go-To Burger Spot on Bourke St! Right in the heart of Melbourne on Bourke St, I found a burger place that honestly blew me away. I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in, but the vibes hit instantly — a fun mix of 80s + 2025 music, neon energy, super welcoming staff, and a really relaxed, kid-friendly atmosphere. It just feels like one of those places you want to hang out in even before the food arrives. I ordered the single bacon burger, cheesy fries (large!), a medium soft drink, and a regular warm cheese sauce — and yes, I dipped my entire burger in the cheese sauce, and YES it was absolutely worth it. The burger was juicy, flavourful, and perfectly balanced with crispy bacon. The bun was soft but held everything together, and the warm cheese dip just took it to another level. The cheesy fries were huge, super satisfying, and honestly could feed two people, but I was on a mission so I did my best. Everything came out hot, fresh, and ridiculously tasty. The whole place has that fun, upbeat vibe that makes you feel like you’ve found a little gem in the middle of the city. Perfect for families, solo eats, or a quick stop while exploring Melbourne. If you’re near Bourke St and craving a good burger, this spot is a must-try — I’m already planning my next visit. 🍔✨

After trying other locations, we decided to give this venue a go as well and visited for lunch one weekend. A quick note, if you have a pram or wheelchair, there’s a separate accessible entrance. The main entrance has a few steps, so it’s not pram or wheelchair friendly. The venue itself is spacious, and it wasn’t busy during our visit, so the food came out fairly quickly. However, one thing that did concern me was that our server had her hair down and kept touching it while our food was waiting to be served. Both the server were chit chatting at the counter while our food sat on the shelf. After some time she then with her unwashed hands touched our meals and buzz our number, which wasn’t very reassuring. The burger was good, while the fries and potato tots were just okay nothing particularly special. Overall, it was an interesting experience, but I personally prefer the Emporium location.

Royal Stacks has burgers worth travelling for, their selection is excellent and the burgers are good. We went just after a concert at Marvel Stadium and this was the best way to finish an already exceptional night. However, when you go, don’t expect fine dinning or silver service - this is still a burger joint. That said, it’s worth going, and worth spending the money to have the burger you really want. Go with a group of friends and you will have a great time.

We stopped into Royal Stacks near Marvel Stadium after the Oasis concert and it was the perfect way to finish the night. The place had that great post-gig energy, music still in our heads and the smell of burgers grilling in the air. The burgers were unreal. Juicy, perfectly cooked and stacked just right. No mess, just proper flavour and quality from start to finish. Chips were crispy, the shakes were on point, and the staff were friendly even with the crowd rolling in. If you’re heading to an event at Marvel or just want a seriously good burger, Royal Stacks is the spot. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the city. 🍔🔥

Great American style burgers. Large array of dipping sauces I highly recommend getting extra cheese sauce to dip your burger in and if you are a gerkin lover the prince harry sauce is like a steroid Big M sauce it isn't listed by can be purchased as a dipping sauce for $2.5.
