I had a fabulous pre-dinner experience at Ruelle Wine Bar. My husband and I enjoyed two glasses of wine paired with delicious olives. The white wine was excellent, and the rose was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, making our evening even more enjoyable. We even booked a white wine tasting event through Eventbrite for the 18th of April during our visit. Can't wait for that! Highly recommend Ruelle Wine Bar for a great wine and snacking experience.

When a young couple passionate about wine create the perfect quaint little bar, Ruelle was born. A fitting name for this hidden bar off Chapel in a little "Ruelle"(side road in French). Luke and Maddy brought together a surprisingly diverse range of Wine ranging from our backyard to some carefully selected ones from France, Italy and Spain. The menu features some locally sourced produce in the form of cheeseboards and charcuterie which pair really well with the wine selection. The service and atmosphere of Ruelle is friendly, relaxed and charming. A great place to kick start a lovely evening with some carefully selected wine and great company with Maddy and Luke. I highly recommend to hop in and check it out.

Now that ive got wine bar on me radar, it's great to find these ones so near to me! This one was a Google find, and as it was (pretty much) en route with a zippy walk, so I thought we'd check it out. For an early Friday evening it was quiet (read- just zip and I), so the ambience rather banal, but as they allowed Zip in, it gets a big tick :) I liked how I could choose the different cheeses, meats - and I think a pretty good price too. They had these marinated figs - and they were 'figgin' tasty! heh heh. Oh, and loved the cheese knife too (of all things!) Of course I went the usual route and had a Rosé - which was lovely (then again, I buy Aldi Rosés too 😜) The waiter dude was friendly and efficient - and before I could say, 'figgin' delicious - Zip and I toddled off for the rest of our walk. Just one thing about the service (and this can relate to all places I go to in general) ..... I was chatting with another wine bar owner recently and it's pretty hard to be all things to all people, so take this with a grain of salt, one thing I like is energy - it doesnt have to be over the top - but when you get service with a bundle of joy/energy/engagement it does make you wanna come back (like, it can be a unique point of difference). But really, no complaints on the service - this is just my feedback ... and me being picky 😁

I hosted a going away party at Ruelle with 40 guests recently and it was a huge success. The setting was beautiful, the staff were friendly and very capable, and the owner was very helpful as I booked last minute. Can also highly recommend the delicious espresso martini’s!
