A great stay! So much, that I returned within a week! The first was a last-minute solo stay and was so impressed that I came back a week later with my family. Staff were immediately welcoming and foyer always had good air conditioning even when Melbourne sweltered on a 42 degree heat (107.6F) day. The air conditioning in my room was also excellent, keeping the space comfortable. There was some hall noise from other guests one evening, but generally quiet. I appreciated how clean the room was, and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. The dining in-house food orders were easy to select and arrived promptly. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of delicious options. After a busy long and exhausting day the in-room spa was also wonderful. I also enjoyed the rooftop pool in the morning, which was a nice way to relax.

Had a fantastic stay at Stamford Plaza Melbourne. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. A special mention to Dhaval at the reception—his service was exceptional. We arrived quite early, and he kindly offered us an early check-in, which made a huge difference after our journey. He was very friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout. The only minor concern was the shower step/height, which could be improved. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel. Looking forward to staying here again!

Would not stay here again or recommend. Husband booked here to celebrate his birthday and our 5 year wedding anniversary, was made note of this at booking. Waste of input as there was zero acknowledgement of the special occasion. Booked and paid extra for a room with a spa only to find a tiny, siliconed up, dirty small shower/tub. Dirty old food plate was found on arrival outside our door. Brought this to the attention of front house staff only to find it still there after our day out. Food remaind on the floor the entire stay. Lights flicking in bathroom. Overall just a poor experience and poor service. Look else where

Had a great weekend stay here. Yes the rooms are a little tired and dated , but the fabulous service and location more than makes up for it. Not to mention having a spa bath to relax in after walking around the city all day. All the staff were great from checkin to housekeeping. A standout for us though was a young man by the name of Rohit. He was so friendly and helpful. Looking forward to planning our next stay there.
