Stovetop is a stylish café offering a typical Melbourne brunch menu with some Asian, Italian and middle-eastern touches and a cabinet of sweet and savoury croissants, sandwiches, pies and slices. I had the benny that was light and tasty. The long black was dark and bitter - in a good way. The service very attentive and friendly. A nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating options.

Amazing cafe in Carlton with great menu. Super friendly staff. Coffee is well balanced. I recommend the Chermoula Mushrooms. Great place for brunch or lunch.

I celebrated my 30th birthday and my business turning one at The Stovetop, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. With just a week’s notice, the team went above and beyond to organise everything flawlessly. The atmosphere was so welcoming, the customer service was exceptional, and the staff were attentive to every single detail — they truly didn’t let me lift a finger all night. My friends and I had the most amazing time. I can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be hosting all my future events here!

The menu at Stovetop feels like it’s from a different universe—in the best way possible. A true fusion experience, where you can jump from Nasi Goreng to pasta to Mexican food, all in one sitting. We were greeted with a warm smile and friendly chit-chat before ordering, setting the tone for a cozy and vibrant atmosphere throughout. Next time, it’s coffee and breakfast on the agenda. Thanks, Stovetop. Loved it.

@stovetopcafe is a cafe towards University Square/ Melb Uni📍 I love the natural light in this cafe 😍 we enjoyed the nasi Goreng and the baked eggs. Both dishes were so good! All dishes including the cauliflower salad were so generous! We went on a day where they were understaffed and they were so busy with takeaway orders 🥲 the barista and floor staff were out due to covid. We still really enjoyed our meal and coffees- mum really enjoyed the NasiGoreng 😄. Super wholesome. ♥️☀️ 🍳☕️
