We popped down for the $25 steak night but ended up getting a few entrees also. Steaks were cooked perfectly but the standout was honestly the calamari so tender and flavourful. Service was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and caring. Really enjoyed our night.

Popped in to avoid the rain and was pleasantly surprised! Beautiful inside and good was amazing. I got the Mac and Cheese Croquettes and Caesar Salad.

The Temperance Hotel is a beautiful looking venue, with well-maintained heritage on the outside and nicely designed modern finishes on the inside. The parma is pretty good; nice and crunchy, with bacon and pecorino for an extra punch of flavour. There are plenty of TVs positioned around the bar, so this venue is perfect for watching sports in comfort.

Great location with abundant outdoor seating. It would be nice if the smokers would stick to the smoking section. Great food specials. Enjoyed the schnitzel, Ceasar salad, oddly the coleslaw is excellent. I'm not a coleslaw person so that was a surprise. Solid pub fare offerings in the Angis Burger. The service is friendly but not overly attentive. A great spot in South Yarra/Parahan if you're in the neighbourhood.
