We both ordered steaks. They were cooked well (the medium was medium, and the medium rare was medium rare). The meat was quite tender. The sauces weren't great. The chips and salad were both OK. There could have been more of everything. The portion size was economical. Overall, not a bad meal, but nothing to write home about.

We popped down for the $25 steak night but ended up getting a few entrees also. Steaks were cooked perfectly but the standout was honestly the calamari so tender and flavourful. Service was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and caring. Really enjoyed our night.

Spent the afternoon at the Temperance with friend's. Went to watch the footy and have a few laughs. The footy wasn't on initially but the co workers were more than happy to put it on when we asked. The beer was crispy cold and the atmosphere was great. We also had the sharing plate and a few other goodies to eat. Food was excellent.. really hit the spot. We moved here about 7 months ago and have been looking for a local.. We might have just found it! We will be back. Thanks to the team at the Temperance.

warm food - pork was good but I didn’t get any crackling but the others had some I stole. sauce was lush and very good horseradish !

Located on chapel this pub offered special night on weekdays. I love the idea of parma night with different flavours “classic, Italian, Mexican and more” I tried all my favourite is the Mexican with Jalapeños, spicy, creamy, cheesy, taste so good. The size of the chicken is enough but I would love little bit more chips/cabbage and a bigger plate to be more comfortable to eat. As a regular customer I would like more consistency on the plate because sometimes if it was my first time I would probably not comeback unfortunately but I think it’s easy to fix. Overall the staff are friendly even if sometimes I have to go back to the bar because they forget my request. I hope the time I spent to write this review will be worth it and they will consider my advice. Bryan is very friendly and welcoming.
