Hosted a 21st upstairs in May. From first enquiry onwards, Emily and her team could not have been more helpful. Drinks and food packages reasonable, loved the upstairs room for privacy and separate bar. We had access earlier to decorate. Had a wonderful night. Thanks so much!!
I asked for less chips and more salad with my steak. They said they can't do it as the kitchen is busy. Well, if you cannot accommodate such a simple request during busy times, you are not a suitable dinning place. SECONDLY, my steak came COLD! it was very cold! Apparently has been sitting there for a long time waiting for the chips to become ready. Poor time management. Will not go back again, will not recommend. You get much better steak elsewhere.
Easter Monday Lunch in the Dining Room today. Super relaxed atmosphere with the decor and lovely friendly staff. Mexican and Hawaiian Chicken Parmas were generous, delicious including the crispy chips and tasty salad. Definitely the best Parma I’ve ever had. Looking forward to going again! 👍🏻😋
There's a worn in, old school character to the place that actually adds to the experience. The lamb shank was the highlight, tender, flavourful and generously portioned. The parma did its job too. If you're after good pub food without the fuss, this place delivers.
The parmas are good but the prices have gone up twice in a month or so. Parmas on Parma night went up $1-$2 across the board. Steaks on steak night went from $22 to $25. The buffalo wings used to be 50c each every day of the week but have doubled to $1, 75c on Thu-Fri only. Most disappointing of all, happy hour went up in price by $2 across the board and now no longer finishes at 7pm but 6pm. I understand some inflation but this is too much too soon. You can compare others' uploaded menu images for comparison of how things were just a few months ago. No longer much reason to keep coming back.
