Located on the first floor and adjoining the Drewery bar, this space can be reserved independently or in combination with the Drewery Bar, the Napier room and the Gertrude Room.
It has two TVs available, heating and cooling built in and is fully enclosed with awnings.
This space seats up to 45 guests on high tables, or 100 standing.

Update: Came back a second time and dinner was exceptional. The vinegar potatoes cakes were crunchy, soft and tasty. Our mains included the gluten free Soppressa and hot honey pizza, and a veal schnitzel. Both were delicious and would highly recommend. Our waitress was professional, friendly and the food came out at a reasonable time. 5/5 stars! Past review: Very nice restaurant with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The food was nice and the service was pleasant. We ordered the Porterhouse steak with jus, crab linguine and the fried pepper chicken as an entree. Crab linguine wasn't to our taste, but the pasta was cooked perfectly and the steak was very tasty. Would recommend the pepper chicken. They catered for our gluten free requirements - coeliac accreditation. Would definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.

Thank you so much for having us. All the staff was very attentive especially thanks to tommy who looked after us. He was very nice and knew what he was doing. Food was great however we didn't enjoyed the gnocchi was abit flavourless but except that everything was amazing!!! We loved the cocktail and the selection of wine as well.

I come here very often, and every time I bring my friends, they’re always impressed. The beer and food are both excellent. The staff are lovely and provide great service. There’s plenty of seating, including outdoor seats, so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. The restrooms are very clean as well.

One of our absolute favourite locals! Friendly staff, an awesome atmosphere, and consistently great food. We love the $25 steak night, you can’t go past the pepper sauce. They’re also very allergy-friendly, especially for coeliac. Always a great experience at the Gurty! ❤️
Sea Hunt
A great pub with good food and cold beer. I had a pizza which was really good, but could have had a little more pork on it. Friendly staff with good service. It's in a very nice area of Melbourne with a great view of the Melbourne museum.

Blue Room
Our ground floor main dining room has been designed with Europe in mind. The award-winning space has picturesque vignettes in every corner, with beautiful wood and marble features, creating a gorgeous backdrop for your next event.
The main dining room has flexible seating arrangements with a capacity of 60 guests. The main dining room is a perfect space for larger groups wishing to dine seated for lunch or dinner service.
Public Bar
The Public Bar area warmly greets you when you walk in off the street. With beautiful carpentry, decorative bar top and vignettes of quirky artwork across the space. Guests can enjoy mingling with eachother and a mix of high top tables and stools in this space.
It adjoins with the Blue Room, but can be booked privately, or left open to keep with the buzz of other diners inside and outside.
Gertrude Room
The Gertrude Room is a light filled space that offers numerous seating or standing possibilities for your next event. It features an original mantleplace, modern artwork and the option for an exclusive bar or servery.
The space comfortably seats up to 16 guests on one long table, 23 guests over two tables, or 35 standing. There is an option to extend the space to the adjoining Napier Room.
Napier Room
The Napier Room is flanked by large original windows on two sides of the room providing a treescape vista and views onto bustling Gertrude St.
Featuring an original mantlepiece and contemporary artwork, it is the perfect multi-functional entertaining space.
The Napier Room comfortably fits up to 18 guests seated, or 30 guests standing. There is also the option to increase the footprint by extending the space to include the adjoining Gertrude Room.
Drewery Bar
The Drewery bar features an original bluestone wall dating back to the mid 1800’s. Featuring a statement long brass bar, this space can
be booked with the Terrace or in addition to either the Gertrude or Napier Rooms. It is the central space that links all the private dining spaces and would be booked with a whole top floor buyout additionally too.
Wine Room
Book this beautiful semi-private space off our main dining room for a group size between 7-9 people. With beautiful cabinetry and artwork, this is a cosy space for an intimate dinner. Adorned with thick plush curtains, it can be closed off to other diners. All bookings of this wine room, require a 2 course minimum for each guest. We also have a range of set menus for you to select from if you would prefer.
