Located within reaching distance of Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne University, Flemington Racecourse and the Queen Victoria Markets, this is a delightful hotel that's also capable of hosting meetings and corporate events. Dedicated to David Larwill, the Larwill Studio takes its inspiration from the respected artist's studio. Art fills the many accommodation rooms and meeting spaces of the hotel, making it a location for presentations and workshops that manages to be much more interesting than the usual boardroom or blank office space. There are two meeting rooms available at The Larwill Studio, which can be used individually, or joined together to make one larger function room.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic. Parking is $28, which we didn't mind as it still worked out cheaper than other hotels. The rooms were nice and quiet. The beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately, they were not our level of clean. Marks on the walls, smears on the glass table, rubbish under the couch, and I found a used cotton bud in the floor under the beside table. Other than these things, it was pretty good. The staff were amazing. Attentive and very helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

Love that this hotel is located within the children's hospital. The foyer is welcoming and relaxing. There is a table tennis table available for free. Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are spacious and clean. I would have liked it if they supplied free bottles of water like most hotels do. The breakfast menu at their restaurant, Farmacy doesn't have a big range but they serve big portions. Did not check the lunch/dinner menu. They serve St Ali coffee which was nice but it was cold. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would come back.

We returned to the Larwill, in which we have stayed many times, and found the usual welcome. Reception staff went well out of their way to assist us. The room was clean and well resourced. We enjoyed yet another stay. Parking is safe ure and under the hotel - a bonus in Melbourne. Breakfast is good and easy. Great location re access to trams, freeway, etc

This was the 2nd time we stayed at the Larwill. We like the closeness to public transport and Royal Park. The Larwill is easy to get to by car with plenty of underground parking at a reasonable cost. Check-in is always quick and easy, always a friendly face at receptions. The rooms are spacious, with a fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery, with a table to sit and enjoy the views or some food. The beds are very comfortable. The on-site restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner, good portions at a reasonable cost. The team creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, wanting you to come back.

A really lovely hotel in a fantastic location just outside the city. I booked a room with a park view, which was definitely worth it. The staff were lovely, the room was nice and quiet and the bed was very comfy Only two things could be improved - the tv doesn't have any way to stream things, and the restaurant doesn't open in the afternoon/evening on weekends These are minor issues though
