I loved the new bright looking place, and had a nice view of the room and street. The young man serving us was so lovely and polite and he was very attentive. Unfortunately the food didn't match the service nor the fabulous ambience. I had the special - roasted salmon on a bed of sweet potato with grilled beans and tomato. The beans were definitely the best as they tasted like they had just been cooked. The food was cold, luke warm if I'm being kind. The salmon was definitely not roasted and the sweet potato cloying. The meal wasnt balanced and really strange as if the main elements they hadn't been cooked and were warmed. The basic garden salad thankfully I asked for the cardboardy/weird sweet dressing on the side so at least I knew what I was eating. I'm disappointed, especially for the price. Again, can't blame the lovely guy serving us. Not considering returning given the quality and price of the food. Sorry for the negative review but unfortunately very disappointed 😥

My Parma was delicious. My friend ordered steak. Decent size, about half the steak and chips were eaten when I took the photo. Except this was their 'medium rare'.. My friend and I ordered separately and theirs came out 15 mimutes before mine... Salad was just lettuce drisseled with dressing. Overall it was fine, but much room for improvement.

It was overwhelmingly mediocre. Calamari was clearly frozen and tasted like a freezer, no seasoning to speak of. Pizza was cooked well (I’d hope so seeing as how they have a pizza oven) but again just lacked any flavor. Red sauce tasted like canned tomato puree. The very least they could have done is add some seasoning to make a nice passata. Burger was, how should I say, minimalistic. Bacon and caramelized onion were the main toppings but the caramelized onion was either pre made a long time ago or came from a jar. The drinks were decent through and they have a nice dining room, very family friendly, our son had a nice time which is always a plus. I wouldn’t come back here for dinner, the prices did not justify the quality in the slightest. All of the food just looked sad. I would definitely come back for drinks. Drinks were reasonably priced, few local beers on tap and the bar area was clean and comfortable.

Not completely convinced this is a great venue so far. Much room for improvement. Partners order lamb @ rosemary sausages x 2 mash/peas $33 I would’ve expected 3 sausages for that price. Average presentation - 1 inch rosemary sprig (was it worth it) doubt about rosemary in sauages Disappointing. Service was good by the young folk.

We visited to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday. The table service was excellent — our waiter was lovely, very professional, and attentive. The food was also great; the burger, gnocchi, and chicken breast were all delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The only disappointment was that there was no dessert menu, which was a real shame after such a nice meal, as many people like to finish with dessert. The main negative was the level of noise from screaming children. It wasn’t just our table that was affected — several surrounding tables were clearly annoyed as well. It was quite off-putting, and I feel the restaurant should remind parents that it is a dining venue and ask that children’s noise be kept to a minimum. Aside from that, it was a lovely experience overall.
