The venue ensures a seamless and stress-free experience, allowing guests to enjoy a vibrant and adaptable space that feels exclusively theirs for the night.

We’re right in the heart of the CBD on Little Collins St, with a stunning interior and laid-back energy that’s perfect for celebrating in style. Champagne Problems offers customizable food and drink packages, allowing guests to tailor the menu and ambiance to suit their event. With a nightclub-quality sound system, Pioneer CDJs, and a top-tier AV setup, every gathering is designed to sound as impressive as it looks. For those in need of entertainment, the venue provides a roster of talented resident DJs, ready to set the perfect vibe with expertly curated beats. We have a Photo Booth which is very popular during functions.
There is no hire fee/minimum spend required. We have a range of different packages on offer and can also create a custom package/offering for you if you have a budget you are working with. You are also welcome to just book the space and have a pay as you go event if you prefer something less structured

The Lounge

The Lounge at Champagne Problems in Melbourne, located at 218 Little Collins Street, offers a classy, elegant atmosphere with a private space nicknamed "Evie's Salon" for groups of 15-35. A stylish and kitsch little number, the salon provides a personalized, intimate function space without the commitment of a large reservation. The Salon can be curtained off to provide a completely private space. It is available to book with no minimum spend requirement or hire fee. You can simply book the space and run a pay-as-you-go event or for something more structured, we have a selection of food & drink packages. AV equipment is available for use in the space if required. The Lounge seats up to 35 (cocktail-style too), and if your party's a bit bigger, we can hook you up with extra booths in the adjoining main bar. . You’ll have access to AV facilities (projector + screen), and our photo booth is a fan fave at events — great for capturing memories with a twist. Cool little bar that would be great in winter, but it also has an outdoor area for summer, with relaxing laneway views. I enjoyed the layout of this place. It's a step down from the sidewalk when you walk in, and the ceilings are low so if has a basement bar vibe without being one. It's also quite dark which adds to the cozy feel. I had a steak and beverage for $30 which is an exceptional deal. Quality of the steak probably wasn't the best, but everything was really tasty. Happy hour prices were really good. Would definitely try this place out again.

I went there on Wednesday for steak night and they had a $2 oyster promotion too. The steak was really good, I loved the house-made chips, and the flavor of the steak was great. The oysters were delicious, especially with the slushy they served. The slushy cocktail was tasty too, not too sweet and easy to drink. Everything was so good that night and I didn’t feel pressured by the atmosphere even though I went alone. I’ll definitely go back again. I really liked the food and drinks.

Such a good happy hour deal! The best margaritas and only $16! They also had oysters for only $2! Really cool old black and white movies playing on the walls and a lil candlelight lounge area

had a private function at the venue. Lovely food, amazing service from the staff. The venue itself has an amazing atmosphere. Would definitely consider holding another event here or just visiting for a night out. shout out to charlotte, Harper and the lovely manager/boss bloke who were genuinely so kind towards the patrons even through some that were feeling unwell. Could not have had better service.

The Decor and vibe was amazing, the event room had the best mood lighting and layout, great cocktails and champagne all at very reasonable prices. Beautiful food and delicious oysters. We loved happy hour but most of all, kind, fun, staff giving us great service all night, we will be back!!
