Reviews for Tallboy & Moose

Steak was well-charred! It went really well with the red wine sauce. The buffalo wings were cooked nice and crunchy, sauce was spicy & flavourful too. Staffs were kind and considerate without being in your face. They attended to our needs to shift the fan blowing at us, and checking our order when the wait was a lil' long. Great vibes, yummy food. The place was comfortable and accommodating for my friend and I to have a good long conversation. Worth the trip!

Food was tasty. Beer was good. Service was a bit slow, however it was Fathers Day and very busy.

We had such a fabulous lunch yesterday. Sunday roast for many of us with a yummy tasting board to share. The food and drinks were delicious and the venue had such a beautiful vibe with the acoustic tunes throughout the afternoon. Thank you to your awesome staff who looked after us so well 😊 Our family really enjoyed the day! Matt

Tallboy & Moose has been my favourite of all the brewery, pubs and bars in the area since I moved down from Sydney. The brewery has a super chill vibe both inside and outside. The inside section has a lot of seating and includes a pool table and air hockey table. It’s perfect for small and large groups including families with little children. The outside area has a lot of seating as well but mainly for smaller groups and a section with long tables for large groups. It also features large umbrellas to shield from the sun/rain. The brewery has a large variety of beers/ales etc on tap and for takeaway. They also have a kitchen with a fairly extensive menu including a few vegetarian/vegan options. During the colder months they have a fire going inside and a couch with some lounge chairs by the fireplace. As for events they run trivia nights every week and wrestling on occasion. A huge bonus is the venue is entirely dog friendly, both inside and out, just make sure they’re on lead and being a good boy/girl. Keen to make it back to Tallboy. Looking forward to a pint!

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends, the food was fantastic. The choice of beers was fantastic and of course the company was awesome. The staff at this place are first class and extremely helpful. The food was a great quality and very comforting. The choice of beer Was what you expected with a small brewery with plenty of good options, also, both the ladies and the men’s toilets were spotless a real credit to the staff keeping an eye on it and maintaining them throughout the . The only problem that we had was that at the end of the day with desert we could not get a coffee or a tea. I fully understand this is a brewery and not a cafe but a coffee wouldn’t have gone astray. 9 out of 10 for this place we will be back and I urge other people reading this review that you will not be disappointed when dropping in.
