Weekend birthday party for a 10yo. Sunny Winter day so in outside garden area (dogs welcome) Super busy but plenty of staff with great attitudes and personalities. Menu was excellent for a pub and food did not disappoint. Many "zones" to choose from, good kids area and all amenities were clean. Not a huge parking area so get in early and also, book seating. Highly recommend this large local family friendly hotel.

We had an amazing experience for my son’s 1st birthday. Everything ran so smoothly from liaising with the functions co-ordinater in the lead up to the event to the staff that helped us on the day of the party. We would highly recommend this venue. We had the event in the beer garden which was perfect for a 1st birthday. Thanks to all the team x

Out for dinner and took advantage of the Thursday beef cheek special. Food was well presented and cooked perfectly. service was great. Good menu that caters for all tastes. Solid wine list not overpriced. well worth the visit.

The venue is great. Plenty of space and options to dine in. Staff were very friendly. Given this was my first time here I tried the classic chicken Parma. Unfortunately, it was almost cold when served and the cheeses they used did nothing for it. Probably the worst I've had. The salad and chips were fresh and tasty.

I was there today for a child's birthday party and was most impressed. There were scores of little kids in every section of the hotel, with plenty of adults of every age. The vibes were great, everyone talked, laughed, looked after kids, cooperated with each other and the staff. There were plenty of staff, and they were cheerful, helpful and kept everything moving smoothly. There was no chaos as one might expect with that number of little kids. It was just beautiful! Truly impressive!
