Stayed for work and will definitely come back. Good quality room and service was lovely. Easy parking downstairs and it’s their own, so you’re not charged for per entry.
Their TV was simple and used the main apps but the HIGHLIGHT was how effective their aircon was. Simple to use but it works and reliably. Would go back for this simple reason!
Good location, a little walk to restaurants and cafes but over all decent.
Would suit a few nights stay.

Update: The room size was impressive and provided a comfortable sleep experience, complemented by convenient transport options nearby. While the facilities were generally good and staff helpful, the bathroom could use some improvement and housekeeping was unorganised as they opened our door after we had paid for late check out. Overall, it offered good value for money in a fairly accessible location.

Easy parking for check in and access to underground parking. Lovely, professional staff at reception. Easy access from parking to lobby then change lifts to rooms. Great view over rocket grounds n city from the rooms we have stayed in. Great walk in shower, fluffy towels, plenty of space in dressing area with mirror n benches, along with fridge n kettle. Desk with chair and one lounge chair. Some rooms have 2 lounge chairs. Big TV, plenty of room around bed. Bed is very comfy with lovely linen. Buffet breakfast has a good variety of hot and cold options. Highly recommended….this will be our southern CBD preferred accommodation.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay from 28 Feb. The location was brilliant to access the delights of Melbourne and it was so handy to have off street parking for friends to pop in. The hotel is nicely appointed and best of all were the friendly staff. The buffet breakfast and lunch downstairs were delicious and the live music playing on Sunday really made for a great atmosphere. Thanks to staff and management. We will be back and highly recommend the view hotel.

The room is big enough although a bit dated. The hotel is in a good location with different trams close by and just 15 minutes to the CBD. There is no pool but only a gym with a fantastic view although very small. Our main issue was the strong cigarette smell for two nights in a row coming from the corridor into our room-we flagged this twice to reception but nothing was really done.
The Woods Restaurant Cafe is a great space for your conference or event dinner, lunch of even breakfast meeting. Serving coffee from 6am daily.
With communal tables ideal for those casual conversations or afternoons alone, Woods Café is perfect for those quiet moments in Melbourne.
