Our newly renovated hotel features the 150-seat Plaza Tavern Bistro. Our menu is inspired by our surroundings and our local producers, featuring all the pub classics you know and love. Very big and generous portions of food. Fast and friendly service. The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly the way I like it. And the desserts were also very appetising. Highly recommend the sticky date with ice cream! Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Good for family and friends outing.

Visited the Plaza Tavern for the first time tonight and I am honestly blown away. This isn’t your average, run-of-the-mill pub food—everything we ordered looked and tasted absolutely amazing, came out incredibly fast, and offered exceptional value for money. The absolute highlight of the night was the 1kg Tomahawk steak. It was cooked to absolute perfection, came with some delicious sides, and was easily the best price I’ve ever paid for a cut that size in any restaurant. The whole venue has such a warm, welcoming, and friendly vibe, but what really made the night was the staff. A huge shoutout to Sammi and Scott for their incredible service—they were so attentive, fast, and genuinely entertaining to chat with. First time dining here, but it definitely won’t be our last. Massive props to the team!

Great customer service by Chris. We dine in 2 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant. We felt well cared for as it was our first time. Ordered the $20 Steak (Mondays only). Kids fish & chips and dessert. Great food. Great space for family.
