First time staying at the Clare Country Club this weekend and first impressions will be lasting in the BEST possible way! We were warmly greeted upon arrival by the Manger himself who made us feel right at home and with clear directions arrived at our Apartment really appreciated the private entrance way to gain access that gives a nod to privacy and keeping noise levels at a minimum. As we entered our Apartment we were again so impressed with the space, decor and spotlessly clean! It was beautifully appointed with all the right amenities and to be honest exceeded our expectations. Beds and linen of luxury quality and comfort and very peaceful. I also dined at the Restaurant on site and again my expectations were exceeded by a the most exquisite main course and dessert for dinner (oh the Burra Cherry Pieđđ¤¤)also great buffet breakfast in the morning. Every staff member we encountered during our stay had exemplary levels of customer service, loved the gorgeous Chesterfield lounges cosied up near the open fire in the evening. The grounds are stunning to take a walk around and we found it to be a safe, tranquil and very hospitable establishment of which the only disappointment being we did not stay long enough! Can't wait for our next stay longer next time! Highly recommend!!!

We are Accor members and this is one of the main reasons we chose to visit Clare Country Club. We are golfers and it was a bonus that the golf club is right next door. We stayed for 2 nights in Room 20 which was perfect for us. Great king size bed beautiful bath and shower. Quite unique was the 2 x TVs 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living area. We dined in Connorâs Restaurant for dinner and chose the chefâs specials main course of pork cutlets and a salmon dish. Enjoyed both immensely. Well presented and delicious flavours. The staff were very helpful and polite overall great service from our waitress. Leo at reception on arrival was very professional. We would highly recommend the hotel to our family and friends and definitely look forward to another stay in the future. We also packed our own electric bike and ventured out on the Riesling trail for a day which was amazing. Thank you Clare we love you.

I bagged a great rate for this hotel and I didnât mind its location (20 minutes walk from the centre of Clare) so I was happy with my stay. The room was modern and nicely furnished, although I was disappointed that the photos on the booking site I used were incorrect. They showed a room with a bathtub when in reality there was only a shower. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good. Staff throughout the hotel mostly seemed young and inexperienced, but their enthusiasm made up for it.

Situated about a 20 minute walk from town the country club isnât serviced well by walking paths so the idea of walking into town can be a bit treacherous walking along the road and even more dangerous at night. The amenities are good. They have a free pool table but strangely itâs surrounded by a gym so itâs a odd combination in one room, especially if youâre working out while somebody else is playing pool having a couple of drinks. The bar area is nice when the fire is lit and parking is external and often have to walk to your room but as long as no one parks in your spot everything is fine. The rooms are large good TV air-conditioning and temperature control is excellent small bar fridge biggest negatives are that the shower takes a few minutes to get to temperature and the water pressure is very poor. But you do get complementary small bottle of red wine packet of chips, two Kitcat and two bottles of water which is a great Touch and service from the on-site manager at reception was quirky transactional at best. Would we stay here again? We would love to stay here again but sadly being that we like to walk into town we just think itâs too far and too dangerous to walk along the road so we would probably look at another option.

My husband and I stayed 1 night at the Clare Country Club to celebrate our 28th anniversary. We were in room 15, directly under the bar. Even though the bar was busy with Happy Hour, the sound did not come into the room. The room was spacious and clean with a view out over the garden and swimming pool. The bathroom was roomy and had a bath and shower. We had some complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine to enjoy, which was a nice touch. We had a drink at the bar prior to having a meal in the restaurant. The food we ordered was delicious and very well presented. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and courteous. We would definitely stay here again.
