Pros: * The rooms were very aesthetic and well-styled. The kitchenette was clean, the bed and couch were comfortable and cosy and overall made for a very relaxing stay. The bathroom was particularly nice, with a large bath, spacious shower and lots of space for toothbrushes, creams etc. The complimentary snacks and drinks were an added bonus and a great way to start our Barossa journey. * Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, especially Shannon! * Having the option for the apartment to be serviced at no extra cost was a great addition, and made our stay feel that little bit extra relaxing and luxurious. * Great location- it’s only a short drive to many shops, eateries and wineries but far enough from Tanunda Village to feel peaceful and quiet. * Apartment was extremely well priced for the quality and offerings by the hotel. Great value for money. Cons: * The living room needs dark/blackout blinds in addition to the sheer blinds. It did not make the room feel very private, especially given that most of the apartments share the same outdoor space so people are often walking past. Also makes it difficult to sleep in the mornings if you’re using the sofa bed. * Some of the kitchen features could be improved through having a greater range of utensils (e.g. a grater, colander, salad bowl) and the bin should be larger and not a bathroom bin.

Our stay has been for 4 nights in a one bed deluxe villa style unit. To us it was closer to 5 star than 4, hence my rating. The Barossa booklet from the information center is showing the accommodation as 3 star, it certainly needs updating as the entire premises has been renovated. Our suite is spacious and had all we needed including a free standing bath in the bathroom that is very generous in size. We included breakfast in our booking and pleased we did. The restaurant decor is very welcoming, as are the staff. The breakfast is set up very tastefully in a separate room. It covered all of our needs to start the day. We certainly will stay here again, it is so central to Tanunda and the rest of the Barossa.

My husband and l stayed here from the 14th - 17th Feb on our honeymoon. The room was so nice. The kingsized bed was absolutely comfortable. Everything was perfect. The staff friendly, the food was great. We highly recommend anyone to stay here. They deserve 5 stars. Thank you to everyone who made our stay amazing.

I checked in on Christmas afternoon last year, but the experience was quite disappointing. The receptionist was unfriendly and had a poor attitude for some reason. After entering the room, there was an unbearable odor, which we eventually traced back to the sofa and throw pillows. We actually had to put the pillows away in the closet just to tolerate the smell. The room also felt very dusty; I hope the hotel will prioritize the deep-cleaning of upholstered items like pillows and sofas, rather than just surface cleaning. On a positive note, the hotel breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff were very warm and friendly. Location is also good. I hope the front desk service and room hygiene can be improved to match the high standard of the dining experience. (2nights—AUD 545.3)

Stayed here for the Day on the Green (Jimmy Barnes ) concert, and the location was perfect for the 15 minute walk to the venue(peter Lehman Winery). There was no issues for parking and the rooms were very good with ample room for relaxing. The hotel is close enough to main street with a very short drive, and far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner and though the menu is pretty basic, the food was ok. Main complaint was that my partners burger was actually cold so the cheese had gone hard on top . My partner didn't want to make a fuss but I told the waitress about it and they offered a free desert in place of !!(Sticky Date Pudding) Which was very nice. A pool would be a great addition to the Hotel and a better menu, but beyond that, we would definitely recommend this place.
