The Novotel is perfectly located for getting around the Barossa. Yes, the rooms are looking dated but there wasn't anything really to fault other than the screen on the balcony door was very dirty and looked like it had never been cleaned. The restaurant is fantastic, staff were all so helpful and very friendly and the food - magnficent! Dinner was delicious and the buffet breakfast was the best we've experienced at a hotel - there was so much to choose from and everything was so fresh. I loved hearing the birds outside our room morning and night - it gave it that extra special feel. Thanks for a lovely overnight stay.
Great hotel in an excellent location. I took our Exec team there in December for one of our quarterly offsites and it was very good value. The hotel team was highly responsive and easy to deal with. All rooms have fantastic views over the Barossa Valley. The boardroom was a little dated (though still perfectly workable), but I’ve heard renovations to the meeting wing are planned for 2026, which should make it even better. For team activities, you’re surrounded by great wineries—Rockford and Peter Lehmann among them—as well as plenty of good restaurants. The hotel restaurant is tasteful and has great views, although the food options don’t quite match what’s available nearby.
We chose the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort for our team offsite and it proved to be an excellent choice. The facilities were perfect for our business sessions, providing a professional yet relaxed environment that fostered productive discussions. The staff were attentive to our group's needs, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The stunning vineyard views offered a great backdrop for breaks and informal networking. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, allowing for rest after busy days. Highly recommended for corporate retreats.
Great stay at Novotel Barossa, even with the drizzle trying its best to join the holiday. • Rooms feel clean and comfortable, the kind of place where you drop your bags and instantly forget you packed too much. • The location steals the show. Even in the rain, the views look like they’re posing for a brochure. • Dinner and breakfast hit the mark. Fresh food. Big flavour. Worth every extra dollar, especially when the weather suggests staying indoors. You get a peaceful base close to wineries and a menu that makes the drizzle feel like part of the charm. Easy place to return to.
This is a beautiful place to stay … very tranquil and close to lots of wonderful wineries! Rooms are clean, newly renovated and the comfort level is great. We were there for dinner and breakfast… dinner was terrific and the service was great! I think the waitress was Milayla, she was very helpful and friendly. Morning after, a short walk to breakfast and we were so thrilled to see such a great offering at the buffet. The staff are super friendly and helpful.. even recommended local attractions which we visited and loved!
