I’m now a FT nomad pet/house sitting, and enjoying hotel/serviced apartments for accomodation between bookings. I chose this hotel as I’m a member of the Choice hotels loyalty program, although this area offers an enormous choice of places to stay . This is truely a delightful hotel that is stunningly located right on the waterfront and in the centre of town, and has recently fully refurbished rooms and a relaxed but thoroughly professional vibe. From the welcome on arrival and charming engagement on departure, u find the Reception area shares space with a Bar and cosy Lounge. The Restaurant is also located here, and a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the waterway. The room was spotless, bathroom beautifully finished with a roomy rain shower and quality linen provided. The king bed was very comfortable and again the linen service provides a deluxe feel. There is a bar fridge and tea/coffee making of course and also has a microwave. Having the Restaurant allows them to provide both a full buffet breakfast along with dinner service, and there is a room service option too. The Front Office team here make the guest feel very welcome and the Housekeeping and Restaurant/Bar staff were equally helpful and friendly. I can thoroughly recommend this stunningly located hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights, we had a balcony overlooking the pool. Ample space in the room, bed was comfortable good size bathroom with plenty of drawer space. Our room were made up daily. We also dined at the Water Edge restaurant which was reasonably priced and the meals we had were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a free guest laundry as well! Did I mention there is also happy hour?! It is within walking distance to the club and the city centre.

A lovely hotel right on the water. It's beautifully situated. It's spotless. Comfortable bed. Lovely modern interiors and bathroom. Laundry and dryer available for guests. Restaurant and bar with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. I'll be here for 4 nights this time and when I come back this way, I'll definitely be staying here again!

Stayed in Australia for six years and this is easily the best place I have experienced. The rooms are spotless, well maintained, and clearly cared for. The shower pressure is on another level, easily one of the standout features. Parking is available which adds real convenience, and the location makes getting around simple. Overall, a very well run place that delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and practicality. Strongly recommended.

Checked in tonight to Comfort Resort Waters Edge, friendly receptionist who took the booking and processed our arrival without a hitch!! Room clean and tidy. Great club next door - the Westport - who serves a good roast of the day at a reasonable price. We are Choice members and received our Choice discount and the receptionist seemed happy to process our points. Thank you for great motel accommodation in Port Macquarie.
