Cabins are very solid with locks and good features. I was really impressed by the small touches of the cleanliness of the room. Little milks lined up in fridge, towels and bed perfectly made. Staff were polite and helpful, will stay again if back in Darwin

The room appears very luxurious and is clean. Then you go to use the sink and it doesn’t drain, you sleep on the bed and you can feel the springs in the mattress. Had extreme back issues after sleeping on the bed for two nights. Had a dog sleeping a couple doors down from me and was woken to a cat getting attacked out the front of my door. Property requested a $100 deposit in advance three days out and when I requested my afterhours check in process, didn’t give it to me until the last second, was very worried I wouldn’t have somewhere to stay. Customer service with check in can be so much better. My location being a solo traveller was very close to the bus stop and all I heard was the locals.

We spent 3 nights at the Darwin Resort and it must be one of the worst places we've ever stayed at. When we arrived at 2pm the reception was already closed and it took us over half an hour to get someone on the phone just to tell us they gave us the wrong code for the key box. Our key stopped working on the first day. We came into our room and all the walls were dripping. There was so much moisture in the room that puddles were building on the floor. The water even came flowing in through the door. There is a glass door to the bathroom and just outside the bathroom window there is a big spotlight which is on all night. It makes it impossible to sleep and we had to tape towels to the window trying to cover it. The so called guest kitchen is not serviced by the staff and it it located next to the appartements of what seem to be permanent residents. They are smoking and drinking outside the kitchen. It creates a very unpleasant atmosphere and the kitchen itself is very dirty. Overall we had a terrible experience at this place and I wouldn't pay a single dollar for that. Don't let yourself be fooled by the nice pictures.

It's a bed for the night. No frills! But clean! And behind security. Needs a manager to give it some heart. It's obviously an investment property.
