One of the managers here, the one in the photo, spent over an hour provoking my friends and me. He was clearly drunk, behaved in a very aggressive way, and repeatedly followed my friend while speaking just a couple of centimetres from her ear, making her extremely uncomfortable. He also made clearly racist remarks towards French people, which was completely unacceptable.

Great location is all they have, Firstly the manager who happens to be serving the customer at the counter recommended that the Taco is the best dinner for today’s menu # 16/6/26. Upon receiving the meal. ( I ordered fish and my friend ordered chicken) I was shocked to receive 1 taco on a plate and the waitress. very unfriendly, dumped the food and walk away in a hurry without any acknowledgment nor telling us which one is fish and which one is chicken. We couldn’t pick the difference since it was cover with sauce so our meal was swapped. My friend doesn’t eat fish. i eat both so i ate chicken. My friend complained to the manager and the manager said he told the Kitchen to fix it. 10 minutes later waitress said the kitchen is closed It wasn’t 10pm then. My friend had to leave without eating. i believe the staff’s attitude was raciest. while we were waiting the security guard didn’t let the natives person enter the venue. My friend offered to buy the native person the dinner and the security guard was very rude to her, when her offered to buy him lunch.

A great place for a drink and a bite to eat in Darwin. The lil plates are great for variety and sharing. Would come back.

The vibe was good ; the food normal bar food , but some of the staff ruined the experience. Very attentive to male customers but not to female it made me feel very uncomfortable. I ordered food and doubled checked to make sure they had it with the girl at the front pay and sit waited 40min, went back up just for her to say they actually didn’t have it. She let me wait on food that wasn’t coming with no thought to let me know , I was so annoyed I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of the day to top it off I orders something else and she just dropped it on my table ; it’s a shame because the first shift staff were amazing

I wasn’t going to write a review HOWEVER after reading the reviews on the security guard called THEEK I felt I needed too. The security guard who was passive aggressive and rude towards my friend Jed was a Caucasian/White man and NOT the THEEK photographed in the reviews after Jed made her complaint. It’s OBVIOUS the venue is getting their staff or people they know to create reviews from throw away accounts to increase their star rating and that is pathetic. Perhaps THEEK is a great security guard but we wouldn’t know as that is NOT the security my friends were referring too!!! Not impressed. Wasn’t going to write anything but hate deception and that’s what’s going on here.
