Great option if you're looking for a nicer pub. Good food, lots of options i want to go back to try. Espresso martini was tasty also. Price reasonable. Lots of seating inside and out, playground for kids, ice cream station and pet friendly! Not overly noisy despite it being a friday night and seated near the playground. Food didnt take too long to come out. You will need to find street parking up the road otherwise there are a few 1 hour bays out the front.

This place is humming by that I mean packed solid. We went for Lunch with the family which included several mini me's, they have a nice play area for them all indoors, but to get a table around that area you'll need to book a week or two in advance to get a table. There were no complaints from the kids they loved it. We all ordered different things the food was Hot the portions quite large The Parmy was a good size no complaints. The Schnitzel had Carbonara Pasta on the top it was very nice I've never had this before in this way their usually seperate dishes. The Fish, Chips & Salad were a nice size crispy Fish. The Roast, its Beef or Pork wasn't very appetizing to me, yet they enjoyed it. The Pizza was a nice size Pepperoni with Hot Honey it looks delish. The Scotch Fillet Steak was very small and for me not worth the $50 payed for it, although it was eaten. They do provide take-away boxes if you want to take your meal home. The kids meals were average there usually much of a muchness where ever you go. The price for some of the meals I felt was a little expensive overall we enjoyed our Lunch and will frequent the Bassendean Hotel again.

Amazing experience at the Bassendean Hotel with my 92 year old Dad who had his first beer there as a young man. We told the staff this story and he was offered a beer on the house to celebrate his return! We are all very moved that he was made to feel special in this way. The bottomless roast was delicious, the building charming and the staff very friendly and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend a meal at the Bassendean hotel. It was the best lunch experience we have had in years.

Got my 3 favourite people together for a Sunday roast lunch. Food was sensational everything full of flavour and the beef was so tender. We could have had more but didn’t finish all of our first serve and also had dessert to come. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend and will return.

Always love a visit to the Basso! Some of the best vegan pub food going in Perth. The truffle mushroom pizza is one of the best we've had in WA. The margs is also right up there. The pumpkin with dukkha pizza is a game changer. The combo of the roasted pumpkin with the umami of the dukkha, rocket and lemon over the top is just - chef kiss! and I am usually not a fan of pumpkin - too sweet. So what they have managed to do is just next level. Incredible. Please keep this. Vegan parmi and burger are also solid. Great chips and a nice rotating selection of other smalls on the menu. While I haven't tried it, the ice-cream station looks genius. Love the fun vibes it brings to the lovely outside area.
