Reviews for HYDE Perth
ME
Highly recommend staying at Hyde Perth! The location is perfect, only 5 mins walk to the mainstreet. Rooms are new and spotless with a huge bathroom. The hotel bar is a must-try, serving perfectly cold WA beers. A huge thank you to Bushan for his outstanding service, he was incredibly friendly and helpful!! Thanks again, Bushan!

We chose Hyde Perth mainly due to the location, as it was my Mum's first visit to Perth and I needed to be close to the Trains, buses, and shopping. I think it's the best location in Perth, as you are only a block back from the Malls, and in the middle of both. It's an easy walk to the Station, Elizabeth Quay, Barrack Street Jetty, shopping, and St George's Terrace if you need the Bus to Kings Park or East Perth. Chemist Warehouse is less than a minute away, and it's close to both Woolworths and a Coles. We were greeted promptly on arrival and the Staff were welcoming. It has a good feel to it. Like home. The room was beautiful, with a relaxed feel and premium appliances, such as Dyson Hairdryer and lovely new Coffee Machine and Kettle. The fabric on the pillows and cushions was a highlight, as were the overhead lamp, carved wooden bedside tables, and big side lamps. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were tucked in way too low, so we had to pull them out at the end. I thought that the huge space in the bathroom (where the mirrors are) could be the clothes cupboard to get it out of the bedroom. There was plenty of space for suitcases and enough good quality coat-hangers. It was a lovely touch to provide slippers and bathrobe, but found the bathrobe difficult to get on and off, because they weren't the wrap around design. We also thought that the bright orange should perhaps be green to match the room. We were given a bottle of wine, which was very kind, and much appreciated. We also requested more Teabags twice, and they were very happy to oblige. I couldn't work out if water was a one off, or replenished daily, as it only appeared on day two of a four night stay, and wasn't there on arrival. The hallway echoed a bit, and you could hear people passing, but it wasn't often. We had breakfast once, and it was lovely. The serve was not large, but enough, and reasonably priced. The service was good. The Pool area is quite 'Palm Springs', and the Pool is heated at twenty-nine degrees. I'd love to return and spend more time at the Hotel, as we had a full itinerary. I was charged a refundable holding fee of AUD 600.00, which I didn't think necessary. They had my credit card and could have charged it if we had stolen or damaged something. Overall I'd definitely come back, as it feels very homely. It was quite a treat to stay in such a new and spotlessly clean Hotel.

Hyde is beautifully done and is a lovely relaxing stay in the heart of Perth CBD. Whilst I was in Perth for work, it was great to head back to the hotel in the evening for a drink and a meal. Rooms are beautiful and subdued, love the Dyson hair dryer and Bose sound system, nice addition to the lovely rooms. Overall a good stay

Raghav and Alicia were exceptional receptionists who went above and beyond during our stay. They complemented the new and fresh hotel beautifully. The room was spacious and clean, and filled with appliances that were useful and great to use. We loved the heated pool, especially during the cold and windy weather. The Farra dining room and the bar were nice, and the food and drinks were tasty as well. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will most likely return to this hotel when I come back to Perth.

Absolutely obsessed with my stay at the new Hyde Hotel!!! From the moment I arrived, the customer service was next level, super warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food and drinks? Incredible. Everything felt curated and elevated, like a true luxury experience. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and so thoughtfully put together. And don’t even get me started on the interiors… seriously stunning. It’s giving full desert chic mixed with mid century Palm Springs vibes …. I honestly felt like I was on an international getaway, not in Perth! Such a gorgeous boutique feel throughout the whole place. Highly, highly recommend. Already counting down until my next staycay!!!

Green Room
Every show needs a Green Room — ours just happens to come with Jarra floors, great light, and space for up to 110 guests. It’s where big ideas warm up, parties kick off, and things get a little more interesting.
We’ll take care of the food and drinks — from morning coffee runs to cocktail hours and dinners that don’t rush you out the door. It’s flexible, good-looking, and just the right amount of fun.
Set on Level One with access to the Terrace, it’s ready for whatever you’re putting on — product launches, wedding receptions, long-table dinners, or a solid day of work that turns into something else.
Less backstage, more centre stage. Perfect for:
○ Weddings, elopements & receptions
○ Charity dinners, and conferences that don’t feel like work.
○ Award nights, cocktail parties, panels, and product launches with a little oomph.
○ Milestone birthdays and big celebrations

Stage Door
Slip through Stage Door and you’re in on something good. Poolside, but tucked just enough to make it feel like your own secret spot, but close enough to the action to feel the buzz. It’s where launches kick off, ideas get loud, and dinners drift into the early hours.
There’s room for up to forty — Just enough for buzz, not enough for bedlam. The music hums, the cocktails flow, and you’re close enough to the pool to dip a toe if things go that way.
● Perfect for:
○ Private dinners that linger, product launches that make an entrance, and creative workshops with room to move.
○ Small activations, trunk shows and book clubs
○ Intimate screenings, watch parties
